Can't pick up the Puzzle Box

I'm having a problem picking up the Dwemer Puzzle Box. I found it in Arkngthand, but when I use the space bar to pick it up, nothing happens. I can pick up everything else in the room, but not the box.

I didn't speak to Hasphat Antabolis first to "get" this quest. Is that the problem, or do I have a bug?

Can anyone help on this one?

You need to speak with Hasphat first
