Build END at lower levels

anyone else notice that, according to the manual, HP increase happens when you level and it is END x .1
this means that you get HP when you level, and gaining END in the future will NOT get you bonus HP for your previously gained levels. this doesnt work like magicka, which you'll get your full share whenever your INT increases
so, build your END through armor and spear practice while your young, even if its a Misc skill. youll make full use of your END that way.

I want to give this a friendly *bump* because it's very good advice.

If you want to have lots of hit points, make sure to generate and take those Endurance bonuses early in the game, build up a big endurance. This applies to any character I would imagine because we all need hit points.

There are only a few ways to generate Endurance bonuses at level up: you either wear your heavy armor, you wear your medium armor, or you fight with a spear. The spear is a nice weapon BTW. I have my character wear SOME medium armor (current set up is: medium chestplate, gloves, boots. Light shield. Unarmored head and legs = to build medium, light, block, and unarmored evenly without weighing too much) and fight with a spear some of the time, to make sure I get the nice 5x next to Endurance every level.

Start with an orc, redguard or nord with the Lady birthsign. Take a class that puts 10 points into endurance, and you'll have a starting endurance of 85 right from the start.

Only big weakness here is lack of mana, but if you put alchemy, conjuration, security or enchantment in your minor skills you have a pretty good resource for bringing int up to respectable levels.
