I read the books if it's interesting. Basically if it gives me a background to the place I'm going, I'll be reading it. Otherwise, it's worthless to me, lest of course it pumps a stat of mine.

I look at all books just in case of a stat bonus, but ive only read about 10-15, they are all short, a few histories, and one on enchantment.
