Bloodmoon Falco Colony Quest question

undefined I am in the Colony quest and am at the point where Falco wants me to convince the captain of the new cargo ship to work for the price agreed upon earlier. Falco tells me to convince him by showing the saber that the previous captain owned ( the dead captain laying near the wrecked ship on the Northwest Coast). Now, I did find the ship and the dead captain and did bring back the mining picks scattered in the wreckage. I searched all over and did not find any "saber" so I don't know what he's talking about. Can I just kill this captain or is the saber somewhere else? Is it with the screaming woman near the bow of the ship? Thanks for any guidance

Saber? That sonofa captain insulted me and fell to the ground in one hit, in other words its easy to just kill him, but if you really want to find this saber have you tried to look in the water near the ship, or in the captains quarters + you should bring the lady to the colony, oh and dont kill garging (later mission).

What the hell? Sorry but those are incredibly unclear, and also, in fact, wrong instructions. You cannot beat the 'find the shipwreck' bit unless you bring her back (Falco tells you to go and get her if you don't). If you kill the Captain of the ship down by the docks, he can't take the shipment away, so you've failed the Raven Rock quests completely. What you have to do is talk to the lady who was on the original ship that crashed, ask her about Elberoth, or his sabre, she'll give it to you, then you talk again to the captian who wants the extra payment while you have Elberoth's Sabre equiped and out.

But Mccool, implying that it is ok to kill the captain as you did, will lead to failure of the quest.

I still got missions from falco after i killed him, the reason i failed the missions was because i killed the stalethrim guy garging.

Have i been spelling missions Wrong?
