bloodbath quest "SPOILER" need help

ok so I was doing the quest for the Captain at Fort Moonmoth(can't remember his name), the one where he tells you a "little story" and asks you to kill the 5 cammora tong guys. so I killed them and it said that my crime was reported, I went back to the captain and he told me he'll talk to his friends to remove the bounty on my head, and he did, but now whenever I go to any city with Imperial Guards they attack me for no reason, I checked the my attribustes and Bounty was at 0 so i don't see any reason for them to attack me. I could use some help I really don't wanna start over again.

ick. hope you saved your game before this. after i killed the 5 guys i went a joined the thieves guild. they removed the bounty and then i went and reported back to the fort moonmoth guy. im ok with guards now. sounds like youre bugged. sorry.

Could they be attacking you for some other reason? Did you steal anything when a guard was around? Do you have an active bounty?

Just go and join the Thieve's Guild and pay the bounty guy to clean your record.

I think it's a bug because my bounty is 0. And it's only the Imperial guards that are attacking me, the Hlaalu guards in belmora are not attacking me.

Pay the fine that the Imperial Guards want.

Perhaps try commiting another crime and then paying the bounty again, might help, shouldnt hurt.
