I just realized yesterday that Ash Ghouls are just ash zombies with a proboscis growing out of the hole in their face That's about eight billion times creepier than when I thought they were humanoid elephants Did anyone else ever notice this, or furthermore, is this an early stage of the ascended sleeper???

I always figured they were an early stage of an ascended sleeper, but I'm not totally sure...
Maybe ascended sleepers are the final version of the dreamers and sleepers you encounter???
