A series of Questions (Spoilers)

I'm new to Morrowind and obviously there's lots to learn, I have a version; which has a PDF manual but for some reason it doesn't contain any real useful information (I heard otherwise too).
I've searched for most my my answers but there's a certain amount that can be done without getting majorly sidetracked and bored so I though I'd post here.

1: Where the hell can I sell my highly valuable 10 000+ treasures?

2: What exactly do "bound longbow, bound armour" and other spells/items do?

3: I had the slaver camp (Dren Platation?) marked on my map, but I can't seem to find any quests related to it in my journal, is there one?

4: I've read up on the majority of guilds don't conflict except for one of the fighter quests possibly undoable due to being in a thief guild. Having joined the fighter guild more recently than my other affiliations I've noticed a major amount anti thievery quests. Am I safe to do most of them?

5: Is there any way to set preferences for weapon scroll or priority weapons? I use mouse scroll to select my weapons and one of the most annoying things is scrolling to a weapon I intend to sell, is there any way to stop this?

Thanks I think that's all for now, I must say though having played Baldur's Gate for years the journal in Morrowind just plain bites.

1. you can't unless you sell them and then buy lesser value items to get it to the max seller amount then wait 24 hours and repeat.

2. bound weapons add 10 to the skills needed for that item. For example, bound longsword would give you a magical longsword that does more damage than a normal one and adds 10 to longsword skill, bound helm adds 10 to various types of armour skills, bound boots adds 10 to speed etc. and so on.

3. there are several quests (main and side) that involve the Dren plantation

4. can't answer as I am not in the fighter guild

5. not that I know of.

As for the journal, it is a pain unless you get the expansions, in which case you can then access the quests you need to complete a lot easier in it. Its still not as good as the journal in other games though (IMO)

1. Buy something from the merchants. Enchanters are a good choice because their scrolls restock every time you talk to them.

2. Summon weightless but very nice (insertitemname) for a period of time

3. Yes, there are (yes, I said ARE)

4. Can't be bothered to answer

5. Press F1 to bring up the shortcut menu where you can set shortcuts to items, weapons, equipment, and magic

The fighters guild is hard if you want too join the theives guild. I'd sujest joining the theives guild 1st if you want to join all guilds.

And that would prevent you from being able to complete the Eydis Fire-Eye quests.

There are ways around the Fighter/Thieves guilds' problem. I'd rather not state them at length, but you really shouldn't have any difficulties with this. Just remember, in dealings from one guild to the other, be nice, and let your gold speak for you.

Regarding bound longbows etc.

You can also enchant items such as exquisite rings with bound item spells at "constant effect." (You will need either a Golden Saint or Ascended Sleeper soul trapped in grand soul gem)

When you equip the enchanted item, your bound weapon or armour will remain on your PC until you remove the ring, amulet etc.

Also handy is that you only need to re-equip your enchanted item in order to "repair" the said weapon or armor.

I do have a few more questions but only one in particularly bugs me the most, why is it people's oppinions (respect) of me seem to change for the worse despite not being under the influence of any negative personality effects?

If anything it should get better as time goes by, but I often seem to remember the reputation people have towards me were higher.

My Morrowind Reputation has been 2 for a long time and my bounty level has never increased.

The more quests ect you do the more reputation. It doesn't really do much. As for your bounty it only goes up when you commit a crime and are caught. If a guard catches you while you have a bounty you will be given 3 choices.
1. Pay your bounty
2. Go to jail
3. Resist arrest (not advised unless you are a really high level.)
You also lose any stolen goods with the first 2 options.

Or unless you have the mark and recall spells, and can teleport out of there.

Or have a high acrobatics/speed to evade attacks.

Reputation affects SOME quests - I think it's just the MQ though...
