A quest for Bluebrand

I decided that the Eltonbrand easteregg isn't really worth the effort but I decided that Bluebrand (the CS name) would be pretty neat. I have therefore decided that I shall create a Goldbrand that turns into Eltonbrand at night but instead of Eltonbrand it will be Bluebrand and the colour will change. I've got the mesh ready and the weapon set up but I'm having trouble thinking up quest ideas. That's where you guys come in. I'd like it vampire related to keep in the spirit of the easter egg and the whole day night thing. The player does not have to be a vampire to play the quest though.

So... Any ideas?

i like the idea, but when you have goldbrand can't you do a quest to make it bluebrand? And whats eltonbrand??? just out of curiosity, as well as i think that idea is really interesting, its like oblivion Shivering isle's

There is an easter egg that allows you to get eltonbrand if you have a certain amount of gold in your inventory and goldbrand at the end of a quest. Eltonbrand is the in game name while the item ID is bluebrand.

The likeness of activating the easter egg by accident is very low seeing as there is a infinite amount of gold in the game which after a certain point will start to decrease your chances rapidly.

Perhaps it could be "quenched in the blood of three clans" - used to kill an elder from all three clans. Would that work?

Nice idea. Maybe not clan leaders though as that could break some quests or do you mean like adding more vials of blood?

I said elder, not leader. Whatever the second rank is. And yeah, you'd kill them with goldbrand.

o.o i like that idea, but like magelord said not leaders, maybe corrupted second in line leaders trying to kill the leader so they can be a leader? just expanding on a a thought

I know it might take some scripting, but how about, you uncover a new vampire clan, and you got to get more vampires in their family
