Arrow TOEE game engine question

Just recently got it and started playing with it. Does this game feature a pause option like the Infinity Engine series games??
How do I pause the game? Does this option exist at all? Why are all combats turn based...? This kind of reminds me of Pool of Radiance which was quite a bad game if I remember correct.
Is there a possibility to make it more "real time" ??

Thanks,
Lior

Exclamation read the box before buying a game!

hello,

It was clearly stated in all documentation, information about TOEE that it was turn based. You won't get realtime on this one sorry!

You don't need to pause the game as it's turn based during any event that would require you to pause the game.

Beside all this, I feel turn base make my low level hero a lot more resourceful in this game than baldur gate. BG had a better pace though.

And Pool of radiance remake released last year was kind of sucky. BUT, the first release of it, about 10 years ago (the golden boxes), was really impressive at these times.
