Hi, Grey
Sorry for the delay, but i know of Iuz's no xp bonus by comparing notes in the ego section. Kill all creatures -Iuz = xxx XP, kill all creatures AND Iuz = same amount of XP. At CR 52 he should add xp to the encounter, but since he didn't i took for granted that he were bugged.
Later i read somewhere in the Atari forum of someone who had killed both Iuz AND St.Cuthbert ! and they too din't get xp for it (nor loot)

Conclusion was : bugged or forgotten by Troika.
As for Iron-Man, the main difference in-game is NO saving/quicksaving at all, only when you quit the game does it save and in the same spot, so you can't get back to earlier saves.
In character creation you can't reroll stats and you cant use point-buy, so creating decent Pc's is difficult.
When you level up you cant reroll HP's so CON scores are more important, and the party will be generally weaker.
When your Wizard fails to scribe a scroll you have to wait until he's gained a level before you can try again. Therefore my wiz takes Skill Focus:Spellcraft, a feat i never take in normal mode. If he's lvl 10 and fails the scroll is lost.
The ability to reload really affects much of how you play the game, if you have bad luck or do something wrong or regrettable in normal mode simply reload. In Iron-Man you must face the consequences for all your actions.
Some feats are concidered a waste in normal mode but are quite good in Iron-Man, i.e. Diehard & Skill focus: Spellcraft.
Generally it's much harder in Iron-Man and you must plan each combat more caefully and rest more. If pc's die you have trouble, especially in the nodes or large fights.
But it feels good to do some heavy fighting in Iron-Man, knowing that the party could be annihilated if you don't tread carefully.
Also Npc's and Animal Companions are more useful (they are the same, but make the game easier for me)
It's simply much more challenging, IMO
