How to get rid of party members?

Hey guys,

I am new to the game and am having some difficulty.
I feel like I have too many characters in my party(6), so I wanted to get rid of a couple that weren't pulling their weight.

The ones I am trying to get rid of are ones I created.
How exactly do I go about dismissing them?

At the Welcome Wench, there is a book on the innkeeper's (can't remember his name right now) bench. Click on that and the character selection screen comes up. Just deselect the characters you wish to dispose of. This 'register' can also be used to add pc's to your party. Npc's, can be told to leave simply by talking to them. Careful, though, a few don't like being fired.
