How I know the game version I use?

I bough the D&D pack with ToEE in it and I can't see anywhere the version of the game. So I don't know the compatiblity with mods. For example I tried ToC8 3.04 and got very fast a nasty bug, when firing a spell allowing multiple target I got something like 500+ target instead of 2 or 3.

Ah yes, the infamous 500+ magic missles. The Circle of Eight has a thread titled "Common issues and Solutions" there is a post or two covering this bug. If you have any difficulties just ask them for help. They're usually happy to help. Though it may take a day or so for someone to answer, they're really good about trying.
