Talking Free Money Bug

Ok. When looting a monster or chest for that matter, drag the coins partially to an occupied spot in your inventory. If done correctly, the coins will increase in value (from copper to silver, from silver to gold, from gold to platinum) and return to the looting screen. Try it for each money upgrade, it works most of the time and turns a small pile of 15 silver into a large pile of 10 platinum. I'm using both the Atari patch #1 and the Co8 patch #2.

Not a bug - sorry

What you described as a bug is really just how the money is stacked. The next time you win a battle or open a chest, right click on the money. You will end up just taking the money that is stacked on top. Example: Right clicking on the money location and only copper is showing, you might then see a pile of silver. Right clicking again on the money location would then take the silver and possible leave gold showing. Doing it again may leave platinum money showing. The only thing that is happening is that when you took the money and partially tried to drop it in you inventory slot, you were just taking the money that was "on top" of the pile.

Best way to prove to yourself is kill some creatures that are alike. Take the money your way and then the right clicking way and you will see they are the same.
