Well, I'll lay it out the way I do it:
1. talk to Gwynneth about the barn
2. talk to Mathilde about Filliken
3. talk to Rik (the carpenter) about the barn, and he'll segue into Marek's need to convert before he'll take care of the barn (which is Mathilde's dowry for marrying filliken)
4. talk to Jaroo about conversions for Marek and he'll refer you to Terjon
5. talk to Terjon about conversions and he'll tell you you need to convert someone to cuthbert before he'll allow Jaroo to covert Marek to Old Faith (he'll offer up either Jakk, Erliter, or holten depending on who's around)
6. complete Terjon's conversion and go back to him for clearance
7. go back to Jaroo to complete Marek's conversion
8. go back to Rik and tell him about Marek and he'll bump the barn up his priority list
9. go back to Mathilde and get an option to talk to Filliken
10. talk to Filliken and he'll ask about his mourning period
11. go to Jaroo and he'll say he's mourned enough
12. go back to Filliken and tell him so
That'll complete both the Cupid quest as well as the Carpenter's dilemma quest, and an additional quest from the Terjon conversion depending on who you converted (note that if only holten is left for converting, you'll end up married to his daughter, Fruella).
That done, you can do Stealing Farmers for Filliken as well as marry his daughter Meleny (Flirting with Disaster).
Gotta go to work!
