| xbox fixable????
my old roommate left his xbox (old style, not 360) and a bunch of games, so i finally get a power cable and video cable to get it going and there is an error....
it plays the start up sound and graphic, then goes to a black screen with green writing saying "Your xbox requires service, please call xbox customer care" in multiple languages..... then there is the number 16 in white in the upper left corner of screen.
now i remember something wrong with this xbox before my ex left me, cant remember if it was the same number 16 or not... he called customer service and they told him to take it to an xbox repair center.
has anyone had this error? what was done to fix it if it is fixable??
