Wireless Internet Issues

Lately I have been having issues with my wireless Router, and its connection to my own computer (every other computer in the house is fine, so I know it is an issue on my end).

Whenever I attempt to connect to it, I receive limited of no connectivity (it also fails to renew the IP address). These problems came about when I attempted to reenter a password, which I have inconveniently forgotten.

So, here is the question. Is there anyway to reset the password, or re initiate my wireless Network card so that it restores the 'remember password' feature in it?

As far as I know for resetting the password from your computer, there is no way to do that without knowing the old password.

If you can't recover the old one, I think you must recreate the wireless network, then set the new password. This would mean that you must change it to every other computer as well. I'm not sure how you do that, though, but I think it must be done via the router or the modem.

You could of course use cable, if it is option in your situation. When using the cable, you don't need the password. I know this as I've had similiar problems.

That reminded me from other solution:
You should be able to save the connection settings from other computer using USB flash memory. Basically, that means memorystick or similiar. Then, you should be able to recreate the connection for the computer without the connection by using the stored data in stick.

How exactly would I go about doing this?

I don't have personal experience how to do it, but I hope these links help you:
