Two Worlds

Hi, All!
Carol here. I bought Two Worlds when it came out this summer and have just now installed it. The game installed perfectly and I did everything I had to do to activate it. The game started great with the Intro movie. When I got to the Ruins where I have control of my character, the game stopped without my being able to do anything to begin play. A dialog box comes up with an error message that says that Two Worlds.exe has encountered a problem and must close. I checked the error report to be sent to Microsoft and this is the message in the error report details: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~\Temp\9149_appcompat.txt.
I have tried several times to play this game with the same results except that the #'s after Temp\ are different every time. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it with the same results.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?
My computer meets and exceeds all the requirements for this game.
Thanks.
Carol
