help, save character problems w/ dungeon lords

wow,
i don't know what happened. only playing for a few days and saved one character no problem. i tried to save a character yesterday and the screen where you name the character is missing the `o.k` button and the `no` button. i have hit enter a hundred times..nothing...hit every button..nothing...re-installed twice..nothing, and whats weird is that it reloads with the one character i was able to save!!(i can play that character but i can't save the advancement.) i installed directx...nothing......what could possibly be wrong????......can i delete the saved character somehow??? this is the collectors addition of dungeon lords
