Charging AAA batteries.

So I have a bunch of older AAA batteries I want to use in my new mp3 player, but there's nothing on the sides of each battery on how long they need to charge. On the interwebs I find conflicting answers ranging from eight to fifteen hours. Does anyone know what the dealio is on charging AAA batteries is?

Depends what's in them, and how they're made etc. This is where the conflicting advice is coming from.

Rechargeables generally don't explode when you over charge them, unlike non-rechargeables. So it should be safe to put them in for 8 and check them, or for 15 and check them then.
