Can't install IWD...

Anyone know of another way to get it installed, than buying a new one?
I know I know, those boxsets suck, but still...
Everythin else seems to work properly in those, at least for now, but I just can't get IWD installed, neither with autorun nor with opening the cd and using directly setup.exe.

Thank ye for all the help I get, if I get something.

I'm familiar in this problem, as almost every old game I try to install have this problem.

Try to close different task from Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del). Just run the setup, the kill different task one at time. At the time when you kill the correct task, the setup should begin running correctly.

Can't tell exactly what task gives you that problem, but at least for me it's related to my wireless internet adapter, and tasks are:
ZyDummyZD11B-BG.exe
ZDWlan.exe

If you have one of these tasks running, the chances are that it's causing this problem. Just closing the correct task will result the setup to run immediately.

I suggest that you remove your computer from internet connection first, just because you may accidentally kill something related to your Virus scan or firewall.

Oh, and don't worry about closing wrong task. If you kill something critical, the computer just boots itself, and every task should be back in running after booting. So, it's more like trial and error way to determine which task causes you this problem
