Can anyone recommend any good software to turn CD Audio tracks to MP3?
I'm just doing some research for someone who wants to get some of her CD music onto an MP3 player and thought that I could get some good info. here.
Can anyone recommend any good software to convert CD Audio to MP3?
Thanks everyone. Running Windows 2000 on this computer so I am limited to WMP 9.
I'm probably just going to recommend converting CD Audio to WMA and place that on an MP3 Player. Unless anyone knows of a program converting directly from the CD Audio (.cda) to mp3. Otherwise files would need to be copied from the CD to WMA and then converted again.
I used to use dbPower Amp. But since getting my iPod I highly recommend iTunes for ripping . Seems to handle the ID3 tags better than any other software.

Is that specifically for iPods or can it be used with other players?

winamp (the latest version, ofcourse) is best.. its customizable with very useful features like choosing the streaming and file type etc. plus its very efficient and fast
