Maybe you should be able to completly customise the colour and hilt of your blade

Having the colors change according to your alignment could be pretty cool... E.g if you have the blue colour, then it would change into a dark blue if you go DS or change into cyan if you go LS.. Only problem would be the silver crystal.. hmmm.. maybe having a grey if neutral and then silver if LS and then black if DS

Buxton boy, I like your idea of customizing the hilt of the lightsaber. At least the lightsaber will look more attractive than just a plain white tube that's always seen in the KOTOR series.

In my opinion, about the lightsaber colours, I'm not sure what other colour I can think of since most of the colours are almost covered in KOTOR 2. Having said that, the idea of a lightsaber changing colours in conjuction with your alignment does sound pretty odd to me. I can't imagine a lightsaber changing from a certain colour to a bright colour for good and dark colour for bad. Pretty mind boggling how a lightsaber will do that, let alone a lightsaber crystal to say the least.

Forgive me if I totally go off-topic here but the one colour I'm not looking forward to in a lightsaber is pink. Its very embarassing especially when playing a male character. Man, I really hate that colour!

What colors should there be?I think there should be green and viridian for the Jedi Consular,yellow,orange and bronze for the Sentinel and blue,cyan,silver and purple for the Guardian.But there must be other colors.

I'd say yes to black and white, also, double coloured double bladed lightsaders looks cool. I disagree that violet is ds colour. I always weared it with jedi master. I believe it's jedi master colour. And orange... I dunno it looks like a mix of red and yellow. But there should be more TYPES of lightsabers, not colours. What do yuo think about four bladed lightsaber? Or a character in party with four hands (like General Grievious), who can vield four lightsabers at once? Imagine a battle between two four handed guys with all the lightsabers different colours? a rainbow! Pretty cool, huh?

Sorry to bust your chops Darth Orion, but violet is offically the color of the Sith Lord.

The whole rainbow thing, I couldn't tell (Dang color blindness) , but it sounds cool.

I thought its the colour red that the Siths usually use for their lightsabers?

I think a rainbow coloured lightsaber will look weird in my opinion. Can't imagine being seen with one to be honest.

Honestly I can't imagine what facinates you all about a black lightsaber blade, or white or silver for that matter. No color at all.

But in response to the rainbow issue, it's not possible. Anyone who has looked at the cross-section of a lightsaber knows that the color of the blade is the color of the crystal. Rainbow isn't a crystal color, not a solid one at least. Most of the time it needs to be a box-shaped crystal, w/ a solid color throughout the crystal for light penetration. But in the stories of Luke and his academy one is made, so for the game, sure I could see one being made. Gotta agree w/ Des tho, wouldn't have my Jedi be caught dead w/ that thing in his hands.

And ya, red is the color, idk why they made most of the sith have purple, KOTOR II is the first time I've seen that.

Agreed. Can't imagine how that lightsaber will look like when activated. I could have some use for that kind of lightsaber especially when doing stealth mission and executing stealth kills. Also, it would be easy to hide in the dark since the lightsaber is black, after all.

Darth Issac Violet/Purple is not the official colour for the Sith. On the SW Epsiode 2 AOTC DVD Samuel Jackson (Mace Windu) is interveiwing George Lucas about what colours there are for a lightsaber and George Lucas replies 'Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow' so S.Jackson asks 'What about purple?' therefore and from there Violet/Purple became an official colour for the Jedi not the Sith. The only colour so far is red. But it would be cool and innovative if the Sith got new lightsaber colours. Hell why not even lightside colours. Then it would be harder for your character to determine who is a sith or not. Unless you're at the Sith Base
