New Lightsaber Colors

The Power of the Jedi Sourcebook from the StarWars RPG states that before the Battle of Ruusan ( about 1000 years before Episode IV ), the Jedi had access to that world's crystal deposits and crystals of every known hue. Later they could only use crystals from the caves of Illum. As a result the blades were only blue or green - the only colour those crystals could produce.

Luke Skywalker later revived the ancient Jedi Tradition of imbuing common crystals with Force eneergies and using them ( probably something Mace Windu did too ).

Lightsaber blades used by darksiders very wildly in colour. The Sith used blades that were almost allways red, apparently they had a large supply of red crystals and their dark natures favoured the colour of blood.

Personally, I would like to see more colour hue variation, like dark and light colour variations ( especially interesting for your own lightsaber - maybe something like a colour menu when you create your lightsaber would be cool ).
And different handles would be awesome. Tenel Ka used a rancor bone ( or was it a teeth ) as her lightsaber handle in Young Jedi Knights. Btw, she had a white blade with silver sparks.

I'd like to see more hues . this is something ive been thinking about for a bit see what you think. Having a lightstaff that you can ignite at one end, or both (as normal), also having it so you can break it apart and then have dual sabers. Be making fights alot more interesting. (I know its highly unlikely we will ever see it in a game but would be cool)

Also be handy if you could your own handles (if only the generic version, i hate playing a game and getting all the same handles, i like a mixture )

You mean like the BA-122 prototypes?

I vote towards the black saber, because it would look sweet in well lit areas, and in the dark you wouldn't be able to see it at all (unfair advantages: definately darkside )

Also, I think that USM had the right idea when they created Blood of Malevolence (the saber where a big rusty blade comes out the other side), and more evil lookin' stuff like that would definately be a good thing.

black would be kool but they would need white (not silver) and grwy to cover all sides, and maybe gold, rainbow,magenta, or blood red, maybe if u get the force sensitive crystal like th eone you fin on dantooine it could e a color/power crystal, the degree of your corruption would affect the shade of the blade ie dark green to light green, blood red to pinkish

When I did the Trader quest on Nar Shadda I didn't get a silver crystal...I got viridian...I got my silvers/orange/broze etc... from the crystal caves and from jedi master/sith lords throughout the game....I'd like to see a dark blue crystal or blood red one...also I love the idea of custom hilts...but these dual colored blades are not plausable....color crystals are there to focus energy and the color of the blade is the result of this...dual colors couldn't happen because they'd cancel each other out unless you had some way to splice the energy needed to make the blade.

I think, that it would be great do so lightsaber of white (or black, or red) collor with red (or other) lightings around..

All throughout playing KOTOR 1 n 2 i've looked for a teal crystal and i couldn't find one i dont know if there is one but in case there isn't i'd like to see teal.I dont mean to offend anybody butif you want gold get a yellow and call it gold, same with a few others like blood red, darker colors then they already have i mean really come on guys use your imaginations.

I dont no if this has been said but i did like the whole randomness of kotor 2 because of what you could by or find but when it came to light sabers i got pretty upset (not litreally) because i played the game 20+ times and this is no lie i never had a silver lightsaber. so i would like to see something like a crystal seller who sold all the colours u could get.

Thats a great idea somewhere where the player could find a merchant that not only sells lightsaber crystals but also lightsaber parts so the player can construct another lightsaber, lightsaber enhancements whatever you guys call em (i think they are called parts but i'm not sure) and maybe on the rare occasion the merchant will have a lightsaber itself.

i think we should have a nice girly pink there should be a few girly coulors in there for the likes of us who also play theses games.
