New Lightsaber Colors

I think that an excellent coloured lightsaber would be black or gold and also it would be great if you could change your lightsaber hilt as well.

What about a "rainbow lightsaber"? A lightsaber that constantly changes it's colour randomly, or according to the situation.
A nicely coloured hilt would be nice too.

there is something called a "blackbody" and its not a black person with a good looking body. I refers to electromagnetism of light the properties of it a Blackbody is perfect for a lightsaber based on what it does...now the only thing that can neutralize it would be a solaris saber which in tern will be neutralized and they both will function as normal sabers minus the other properties in the hilt.

Black lightsaber properties

1. It absorbs the oppenents light saberpowers and it emits back ( + what ever stone is in the hilt)
2. against the solaris saber the full spectrum is seen upon clashing

Black light saber is possible ...And black is not the absence of light black is the absorption of light where gravity is so heavy light can't escape

I suppose they could use a mood stone for the crystal inside the saber.

how would it monitor mood, though? do you just bring up a screen and change your mood to whatever you feel like, as one might do with Top Friends on Facebook? seems kind of off, to me. somehow, though, i doin't think it was a serious comment

i reckon a gold lightsaber hilt with a silver blade would look sweet, it could be like a relic for the siths glory days or something

I like the gold hilt but i think the silver blade is a bit much,how about GOLD hilt (doubleblade) w/RED blade?

But why a lightsaber "crystal"? You can use lots of stuff instead of crystals such as physical remains, shards of glass, and even special micro machinery.

Oh comeon physical remains who in the entirety of star wars have ever used that how could you even project a beam of light through it?

Jedi imbune their crystals with the Force before placing them in their lightsaber. The same can be done with just about anything. And light can penetrate through anything if it is focused in a sufficient amount. I don't know who uses this, but it is possible.

if im gonna use a unique lightsaber io want their to be ways to customize it for example a hooked hilt would act differentlly in a different form and a straight would to also their should be opsions to make your saber thick - thin and curved - straight and depending on your settings they forms would have different effects

and the black lightsaber sounds kool but id like to have all the other lightsaber colours and seeming how they have a white light shining from within their should be a black light shining from with in

p.s. yes i know that black is an absence of light but this is star wars i mean the fact that there are laser swords deminishes all relevence to real science

I agree with the idea and concept but as i have said before Black is not the lack of color it is that gravity is heavier than what light can escape...yes all objects have gravity so it is possible to have a Black light saber and i think a Simatar or kitana shaped blade would nice battle Ax or a great sword...nah that would be to much

But a three piece broken staff (the one used in fearless by jet li) non the less a black body stone (which does existin real life) can be adapted to work and there is something called a black light (i know it purple) but its possible
