what about a flameish lightsaber, something like the blade has the hue of a fire, dark at the bottom growing lighter as you get to the top(I know won't work but it's an idea lol)

I like the Cyan color and my favorite color is blue sooooo I would like a Dark Blue lightsaber and other colors are gold,aqua,lime Green,and a Scarlet color lightsaber

colours could be randomly generated using the 24bit palette.
some "magical" way that you can influence the colours.

I would choose a dark shade of purple, more blue than purple, like the night sky in some cartoon films.

That could be a nice effect for when you put a power crystal in the lightsaber but for a standard saber without any power crystals in it I think it would be a wasted effect (even though it would look quite nice

the colors should be as follows:
red
blue
green
yellow
purple
orange
with slight deviants light/dark for both- personally the darker/lighter u get in the force maybe the crystal should change color darker/lighter too

Wouldn't darker lightsabers be weaker,as there is less light in them?
