| | In an interview, Bioware gave a few details about their new project that, according to them, will certainly rattle-up the market the way their past games did like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. Gamers will have to wait till E3 though for more information regarding this game. Here's an excerpt of the interview:
FiringSquad: What other hints can you give us about upcoming projects at BioWare?
Ray Muzyka: We’re looking forward to announcing details about our new MMO being developed in BioWare Austin in the near future. We also have an unannounced surprise or two in the works which we will also be sharing at E3 2006, in addition to showing Mass Effect there. The Dragon Age team is hard at work and we’re very excited about how the game is looking so far.
What could this game be? Another KOTOR game perhaps? Since Ray Muzyka is a KOTOR developer, this title could be another Star Wars installment; however, LucasArts doesn't seem to be too keen with the idea of developing KOTOR3. Another guess would be a Jade Empire MMO since the first game had tremendous impact. PC users still demand a PC version of Jade Empire. I also like to see a new preview of their upcoming original fantasy role-playing game, Dragon Age. Now E3 is getting hotter and hotter with these kinds of annoucements popping up. http://mmorpg.qj.net/Update-on-upcom...g/49/aid/19012 |

| | I sort of hope Bioware does KOTOR3. Obsidian dident do so great on KOTOR2, it really made me confused at the end. Bioware did great on KOTOR. I would be happy to see the 3rd instalment in their hands. If LA was smart they would ask Bioware.
Look at this link...sry if someone already has it posted. http://news.gaminghorizon.com/media2...8200.3182.html |

| | | It's a show where developers show off new software and games. Generally there are a lot of previews to be found there. |

| | I found this on theforce.net, still a little disapointing though. :? Quote: But so far nothing has been seen or written in regards to KOTOR III, Republic Commando II, Star Wars Galaxies' future, and the rumoured title based around Darth Vader. All of those, of course, have never been completly confirmed nor denied by LucasArts as yet ... but we're still hoping. |

| | I'm going to stick by this, "We do not comment on rumours and speculation," answer at the moment.
Its better to trust sources from Gamespot or other gaming sites. Usually, they are more trustworthy than fansites.
Anyway, about the sequel to Star Wars: Republic Commando, I've heard no news or whatsoever about its announcement from Lucasarts, save for some rumour of an Imperial Commando on Gamespot but it was quickly struck down as bogus.
As for Star Wars Galaxies, I think that game might meet its grave sooner or later, in my opinion. Doesn't look like its popular compared to other MMORPG titles.
Honestly, Lucasarts usually don't make sequels for its hit titles such as Star Wars: Republic Commando. They mostly focus on developing new titles.

| | There is a game website that regularly updates itself on the current events including E3. Its Gamespot.
Here's the link: http://www.gamespot.com/

| | | Thanx for the info. I'm starting to get mad that KOTOR 3 hasent shown up yet at E3. Is there some way that LA is trying to keep it a secret and not showin/telling us about it at E3? Or do they have to show all their up and coming products? (sry im still not sure how E3 works) |

| | | Maybe there won't be showed anything of kotOR III, probably because they are not yet working on it, or haven't got a trailer or something ready. |

| | As I've been hopping over to Gamespot very frequently, there doesn't seem to be any news whatsoever of KOTOR 3 as far as I know. Quote: |

| I think that's what Lucasarts will probably do according to what Hill-Shatar said. Anyway, I won't comment much here as the possibility of KOTOR 3 making an appearance seems to be bleak at best.

| | | A lot of other forums are saying that KOTOR3 is coming out in late2006/early 2007. Where are they getting this? If no REAL info has been put outhow do the know? Some of them say there just guessing but others are stateing it. Something has to leak out sooner later. |

They mostly focus on rumours and speculation. About the information on where they got the release dates, I think they probably could have gotten it from a rumour and not a credible source.
I know E3 has just ended and there is no news of a KOTOR 3 but maybe its best to wait for an official announcement at the moment.
