| | Yes, a lightsaber hilt customizer in the workbench would be cool.
The race and general appearance selection is also a great idea.
When you reach high levels of the Sith you should be able to change your starting name into Darth Something... Like a rank and a name. You know, Anakin Skywalker and then Darth Vader.
For the light side you can add a "Master" before it.
Another class should be a Selkath Merchant... just joking. |

At the end of K2, wether you choose light or dark is of no real consequence, as you can still use both sets of force powers, due to the ridiculous amount of force points you aquire. I hated this, as it made the game ridiculously bland.

For the light side you can add a "Master" before it. | Oh yeah, that sounds good. Also if NPCs address you as either 'Master' or 'Darth', it be neat since they know you've reached those status.
As for classes, I don't know how to say this but what about certain specialised classes for both Sith and Jedi like a Jedi tech specialist for example who is a Force user plus a tech specialist combined so that at least you'll be able to solve technical puzzles and problems.
Or maybe a Jedi sniper who has the ability to use a sniper rifle aside from a lightsaber.
I think my ideas sound a wee bit off but that's the best I can think off.

| | | I love the idea to become a Master- or Darth-something, great idea. If it's added to the game it'd be a great addition; would show it has at least some depth. Also, and this will probably be a factor of becoming a master or dark lord, but I would like to be able to teach/be taught by another jedi. It'd be cool, and easy, considering the last 2 games already had it basically (Bastilla and Keira taught, and you could pretty much coach the rest of your party).
Lightsabers would be GREAT to customize at the workbench. I mean, c'mon, if you're gonna take the thing apart to put new crystals in it that often, you should have no problem giving it a new handle, or new case, or w/e.
While on the subject of customizing while at a workbench, I think armour should also be customizable. When you added a layer or covering last 2 games, there was no difference. Odd.
Also, if you put a scope on a blaster, you should see a scope on the blaster. Just little things that could help make the game better, but obviously a good storyline w/ less glitches is better.
Another thing that could help the gameplay would be double fighting, where if you or the person you're fighting against is fighting against 2 people, you could fight like dooku did in episode III against anakin and obi-wan. I hate having to kill everyone in a group of 5 person by person while my back's getting hacked up.
Finally, I think that although this is a minor detail, very minor, I still think that it's simple to do, and would make it more realistic: charging. When a jedi has his lightsaber out, it's usually for good reason, right? Then why would you just be jogging if you have your lightsaber on? Charging really wasn't needed in the last games, but in the next one, I wouldn't mind being able to run like a jedi going into battle when I have my lightsaber out, like out to the side, much like in Battlefront II when you sprint as a jedi, except shorter strides. Just a small thing that wouldn't take too long to put in.

| | | Customising face = yes. And for christ's sake, design a female character that doesn't look like a man.
Customising height/weight = I tihnk this might be something of a problem for dialogue animation? Unless it was within set parameters. But in any case, I can't say its ever really bothered me. |

| | | i agree guys, they should allow species choice and at least minor appearance choice, mostly, the appearance of your character does not really affect gameplay, that may be a reason the programmers might not include it. if you allow the main character to be a wide variety of classes from sith to jedi to bounty hunters, you would have to somehow tie all that in together to a force sensitive path. |

| | | What i'd like to see:
1. Species Choice
2. Age Choice
3. General Appearance choice (hair, eyes, facial hair, height, weight, skin color, horns, rings, tattoos) |

| | | I have ideas on how to improve the current "class" system.
Its simple, but hasnt been done. Various editing to force effects would be one thing.
For instance, a force push done by a jedi guardian who focuses on combat should not only look different, but be weaker than a force push from a consular.
Something like the guardians force push pushes the target down and back maybe 2-3 feet, standard force push. A consular should be able to push it back farther, do more damage, and maybe have the option of controlling where the person is pushed.
Similiarly, the jedi guardian can make more use of the "force speed" move to do rapid lightsaber swipes in quick succession due to his combat prowess, while the consular wouldnt be able to do so, however on the flip side the consulars force speed could make him move quicker than a guardian, simply because again consulars focus on the force aspects so it makes sense their powers are more potent.
Also the violence of your attacks should depend on your allignment as well. a LS jedi's force push is just that, a push. While perhaps a DS user's push could be more violent, and his force push is a bit rougher, like he can push you into an object that can cause more damage to you, while a LS user would just push you down and not want to do something like push you into a position where your head ends up slamming off a metal pipe. The darker you get, the more violent your attacks. Perhaps a DS jedi guardian uses his lightsaber to stab someone through the gut, while a LS would simply disable them by cutting off their arm or something. Just little things like that would be cool, I know the chances of them being in the game are slim. I have more ideas but i dont feel like typing them right now |

| | Personally I'd like to be able to get tattoos or hair cuts or something along that line, As for character and classes I think they should keep the old ones and add a few more like bounty hunter or wookie or something. and if I chose to be a jedi master or sith lord I think that convos between other npc's should reflect towards what class/character/alignment that I am. my biggest problem with both I & II was that in I if I played evil everyone treated me as I was a saint(aside from a few convo's about falling to the darkside) and in II if I was evil and trained my companions as dark jedi they still lost inf or butted in when I did something wrong or something they thought was morally incorrect.(yes I know my idea is only for ds, but that's only because LS was pretty much done right in both games) |

1. You can pick your species
2. pick your class, not only jedi or sith but also maybe bounty hunter or something like that
3. pick your characters facial and body features and starting clothes | you cant really think that you could pick your own cloths becouse in each game yoube started in your skivys and found cloths wich are all the same i think your asking for a ktor/gta mix

A black and white Trandoshan, a spotted Wookiee, a yellow and green Zabrak.... You know, that kinda thing. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
