| | | Knight of the Old Republic- The Mandolorian Wars ok like the orignal movies there was episode 4,5 and 6 made first. then later 1,2 and 3 to fully explain the story....
DO THAT ON KOTOR!!!!
id love to play kotor as a jedi in the full climax of the mandolorian wars, massive groudn battles, fleet battles. it would be so full on and cool and it would help lead up to the KOTOR trilogy
But it may not fit with the kinda RPG type KOTOR, i recon it would be really good in a star wars Battle Front type set up. but i heard they already considering it for BattleFront 3 so woohoo! |

| | | I have a really devoleloped prediction OK, well, remember in KOTOR II if you bring Mandalore (Canderous) with you on the planets and you encounter Mandilorians, then he will send them to Dxun and the Mandilorian army is growing. i am sooooooo sure thats whats going to happen. The True sith will eventually attack and the republic is broken so it cant do anything. But the Re-gathered Mandilorian Army will rise to defend the galaxy. If you think abut it, recruiting Mandilorians was not a side quest, so what other reason could there possibly be for the gathering of the clans? The Mandilorians will defend the Republic:The conqourors will become the saviors. All of the star wars games and movies have pretty much beem about redemption right? The Mandilorians redeem themselves by saving the Republic from the Attack! Why will they save the republic? Because Revan convinced Mandilore to do so, I think before Revan left he told Mandilore and Carth to gather forces. (Remember that in the official story Revan was good). Ynow on Tatooine when Canderous kills Jagi, he says that it doesnt feel as good as he thought it would. He decided to change, and seeing as he is the new Mandilore, the Mandilorians will as well! Im soooooo sure thats it, it just fits perfectly! Well, what do you guys think? Do you think Im right, if you see some flaws in this story please point them out so im not delusional. Oh, and yeah, this isnt the entire story obviusly but likely plays a key role.
Here, look at these conversation that were taken out of the game. tubertarian.com; scurvacious and delicious
Ok, read them all and the "Handmaiden or Visas says goodbye to the exile" and the "Visas and Mandalore speak on the Ravager" ones in particular. They talk about how Revan told them that there was going to be another war, a bigger war. They talk about recruiting new people. I believe those people in you party will gather small armies in order to defend the republic. |

| | Yea, you definetly have a good idea. The "true sith", whatever they may be, think that the Galaxy is defenceless and the Republic, the Jedi, and the "fake sith" are all broken. The mandalorians however are secret and they repeated like a thousand times between the two games that everyone thought the Mandos. were dead, gone, whatever. The True Sith will be strong and under Mandalore, the Mandos. will be very strong, but not just a bunch of brutes. You should be a writer.....or a detective. |

| | | Hmm, if what I understand from the Darth Bane duology is correct then the True Sith are not so much a person but an ideal. While it's true that there needs to be a person to carry it out the ideal remains the same. Darth Bane came up with the Rule of Two. "One to embody the power, the other to crave it." What this means is that there can only be 2 Sith, no more no less. They are to live in secret and shadow and be plotting a way to take down the Jedi and overthrow the government all their life. They plot and plan and even if they die the apprentice carries on. Also, according to Darth Bane this is why there can be no Sith Academy. Anyway, from what I gather a True Sith is one who makes the effort to understand and think. After all, even to the Sith the mind is just as important as the muscle, if not more so.
Basically the True Sith would not be found in KOTOR III, because the whole purpose is to not be found. And even if they were in there, there would be no option to kill them as there are only 2 True Sith and killing both would wipe out all True Sith in the galaxy making all the Star Wars Episodes moot and nill. And as well the True Sith would not be so idiotic as to take on an entire Mandalorian Army or work under them for that matter.
If you have any questions about what I mean just PM me and I'll help you there. |

and i believe something for the upcoming television series. KOTOR 3 has been on the table since 04 but no one has picked it up yet.sucks i know. The first two were great. Oh well people should be excited about the "The Force Unleashed".
After playing this game you may not care much about KOTOR 3.who knows. |

Those Sith originated on Korriban but weren't really special beyond the fact that they were unusually aggressive. However they're all extinct by the events of KOTOR anyway. What KREIA meant by True Sith is what I described above.
And DarthRuchie, I do have it from several reliable sources (including BioWare themselves) that they have started production of the game already and is heavily rumored(even by them) to be released by Fall of 2009. |

| | | Still but 2 months old and yet the most recent news anybody got. It confirms that the KOTOR MMO and KOTOR III are two different games and that KOTOR III is definetly in the works. Something that had been previously unconfirmed. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
