I sometimes check the Quest for more glory forums, dreaming of another instalment of the series "quest for glory", I'm here, I also dare to call myself a browncoat as a great fan of the firefly series and the subsequent movie that was made thanks to the fans.(success story there)

so saying bored of dreaming about KoTOR III? not in a million years.

i like all the ideas coming in but one thing i would love to see is a mulitplayer mode where you can fight your characters, to see who truly is the stongest or best fighter..

what I would like to see is different races!!! there is a good amount, but the first 2 kotors are the same. I want to see Yuuzhan Vong Star Wars: Databank | Yuuzhan Vong

also character setup was basically the same as well!
Exile-Revan(main characters)
Kreia-Bastilla(mentors)
Atton-Carth(pilots)
Canderous-Mandalore(same person)
T3-T3(same)
Hk-Hk(same)
Zallbarr-Hanharr(both Kashyyk exiles)
Mission-Mira(both scoundrels)
Juhani-Visas(both dark jedi, sort of)

It would start out with an epic start screen about revan going into the unknown and finding his "ennimies", then it would flash something stupid like "3 years later"
u would see him flying back in a bizzare looking ship and he would land on coursant ( where ever the jedi's were).
He would look ragged and injured. The jedi's would attack and he would beat them senseless without killing them all the way into the counsel room. He would tell the counsel of what he say and they should prepare. YOur character would be right outside the door listening to the conversation when the mace windu equivelent of the councel jumps up and cuts revan in half for his crimes against the republic.
you would get control of a young padawan and would have to work through challenges to become a jedi. As u finished u would collapse and see a vision of masked invaders setting fire to a distant outer rim would. You would report what u saw to the councel and from there u would go. They would tell you to take an advisor and from there travel to telos and get on the soujurn. It would turn out that the advisor is Bastilla and she saw the vision u saw. From there the story continues and develops until it turns into open war with this new race which turn out to be massassi (sith folks slavies) and the bad old sith are there too

Uhhh.......Well. Nice imagination. Problem is if Revan comes back in the third, I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'd be PI**ED if they went and killed Revan off in the very beginning of the game.

And Jedi don't kill their prisoners or returning heroes.

Crimes? Well... The canon KOTOR I story is Revan saves the Republic, so unless this particular Jedi Master was left out of the loop to an insane degree... But the rest sounds alright... Although the visions would just look like whoever makes the game can't think of a new plot device reason thingy for travelling from one planet to the next.

And I wonder where the Exile would fit into all this? Is he still in the Outer Rim at whatever outpost Revan most likely set up?

Well come to think of it..most regular folks wouldn't know that the real hero of the universe was the accual person who not long before was trying to destroy it. I think that Atris might forget that little tid bit of info if she could. Also with only 2 jedi's with interesting views on the force left i don't think there padawans would be very "enlightened".

True. But we're talking about the Jedi high council, on funky Coruscant no less. Maybe the padawans weren't privvy to that bit of info about Revan but it's unlikely. I mean, Atton, who was in a cell on an abandoned mining colony had heard about it, so it's unlikely the Jedi Masters (proper ones this time, not the dull Dantooine masters...) wouldn't...

He does indeed. Whether you tell him that Revan re-took his title as Dark Lord (Non-canon) or that he saves the republic (Nice, lovely, fluffy canon) Atton responds with something along the lines of:

"I guess, there's rumors all over space about it."

Ps: Which would actually infer the whole damn galaxy knew about Revan's redemption. That darn galaxy!

You've made good points there, but also remember that the exile is somewhere. So, maybe the exile knows where Revan is. Also, why do you want to play as Revan, he/she had an entire to him/herself, so he/she doesn't need another game. Also, why do you want to be an apprentice, what made Revan and exile good was that they didn't really follow the jedi order, after all Revan fell in love with Bastilla, and exile left the force entirely. How about you start as a fallen jedi, who both the sith and jedi want dead, and you have to discover why, and you can only get allaince's with Czerka or the Republic, as the Jedi will kill you and so will the sith. Also, obviously Czerka=DS, Republic=LS. i do think Revan and exile should be back, but they should be unable to be seen of face. i think, the twist could be that you are destined to be a really powerful jedi's ancestor or something no matter what, like you are Anakin's great X 20 odd grandfather/mother, mothers side of course, as he had no father. OR you go into the future and turn out the be either Anakin's Father, or his grandmother, either way, link it to the original trilogy, give it a bit of completion, and at the end you have to kill both Revan and the exile!

well said oh and wat if you could look though T3-M4 and find like videos of reven pleading for help and that could be part of the story

What I think they should do is follow the canonicity that is being followed by the guys from lucs arts i.e Revan is light side male and the exile is light side female. I hate the thought of having to describe both these guys through a series of dumb questions.
And why not add coruscant to the mix? would be increduble
They could also add more holocrons of past jedi or sith, to give more history to the series.
And also add the 'alternate routes' that assasins creed has, e.g you can shoose different ways of entering an e.g enemy fortress or ship. Either infiltrate secretly or go through the front door wielding your lightsaber like an enraged wookie that just lost a game of sabacc!!!

Isn't it obvious from the fact that Carth/Bastilla was left back on Telos and the Republic that Reven didn't want help. Being who he/she is, he/she would be too proud to ask, or to kind to want anyone hurt. Help would come through the Force, not directly from him/her. But the idea of learning more about Reven through T3 is pretty awesome, though not entirely credible, seeing as how T3 wasn't always there for the adventures Reven and his/her gang had.

The idea, as I have heard it, about an online KotOr 3, is a nightmare for me. Who would play the main character in this online mess of a Star Wars game? Would everyone be constantly going to find Reven, and always bumping into each other, fighting with Jedi powers and Wookie strength? The very idea sends me into denial, thinking that the makers of the game are insane, or joking. I would never buy the game. No. Never. KotOR got where it was one way: By being an awesome, non-online RPG. It should continue that way forever. Or until I die.
