| | | Which Character Do You Like? (possible Spoiler) in honor of the 'Which Character Do you Hate?' thread, let's approach from the other angle.
I always brought Visas with me because I thought her blindness being compensated by Force Sight was cool. She had an interesting persona although she was little more than the Exile's puppy dog. Oh, and her hips moved nicely
I also liked the Handmaiden, but less so than Visas. Darth Sion was a pretty good badguy, rather like Frankenstein's monster in which Dark Side Force energy replaced his life force, sustaining him in this shattered, broken and slashed body.
But no one is as cool as Jolee Bindo from the first game |

| | | I prefer myself. I'm twice as strong as any party member and can mostly take on anyone on my own. But if I take someone with me, it's usually Kreia and Visas, since they are also Jedi and have more force points and powers than the half-Jedi.
But, I agree, Jolee is better than any party member here. |

| | | Interesting.... Well to tell you the truth I've always been a big fan of HK-47.It's lines are supreme,it's attitude funny and on top of that it has good firepower.Anyway I use Kreia mostly because of her mentor feat and I like Bao-Dur a lot because, well,he is a Zabrak. This time through I'll train him in the Jedi ways although it would be cooler to train him as a Sith. |

| | | In terms of dialouge/fun, I'd have to go with HK-47. He is just far too hilarious to miss (at least, when you are playing dark side).
In terms of usefulness, I'd go with Bao Dur (non jedi) or Hanharr (with intelligence glitch). I keep them around to craft items, and they are good in a fight as well (especially Hanharr).
Handmaiden (turned to the darkside) is good for powerplay, since you can get her to do all the "force storm" work for you (she looks better than Visas when you turn her to the dark side). |

| | Kreia--don't hate me. A wonderful, in-depth depiction of despair, contempt, wisdom, hope and curdled love. One of the few characters I've encountered worthy of being ranked with your team members in Planescape: Torment.

| | | Can't hate you for that... I was first impressed of the wisdom there's in her words sometimes, especially in the first half of the game. Just, when listening to her too much, she can get a little irritating. |

| | | Kreia is hands down the best character in the game. It's true that she's not as flashy or powerful as some of the other NPCs and, quite frankly, she's not always that much fun to have in your party. However, she's wonderfully voice acted, and has a rare depth to her that most RPG NPCs can never match. Regardless of whether you like her or not, she inspires a distinct reaction from you, and I found myself subconsciously trying to please her a number of times. It was nice to see "light side" / "dark side" complexified a bit, by her, too. Often that distinction just seems so shallow in the Star Wars genre. Regardless, those kinds of characters are all to rare.
Outside of that, I thought it was really great that T-3 gained some spunk and became interesting in KotOR2. Bao-Dur also grew on me, though I was initially turned off by the monotone voice. Still, even the voice and demeanor grew on me, as I found him to be an interesting example of a war-scarred character. I thought Visas could have been a really good character, but she really didn't do or say enough, to be fully developed.
Apparently, I just like bitter characters, I'm learning. Hmm... |

| | | No offence, but kreia sux. Shes always winnig bout summit or other. My person favorite would have to be HK-47. Hes just plain funny. He's also good for back up (not that you really need it). Kreia has her moments, but she just never shuts up and no matter what you say she always finds a way to criticize you.

| | | HK-47 is not only one of my favorite characters from the KOTOR games, but one of my favorite NPCs ever. He is just too funny, and I think he's even funnier in the second game. His reflections on traveling with Revan in KOTOR1 were just priceless...
As far as living characters go, I thought Visas was cool, although I would have appreciated a bit more dialogue. Once you got to a certain point with her, she was pretty much put on hold until you were about to confront Darth Nihilius. |

| | Kreia does not shine until the end of the game. Before that, because she is neutral, she kinda contradicts herself, or rather, it's hard to discern what she actually appriciates.
There were a lot of instances where she gets annoyed with whatever you do. Once, I killed a guy asking for help, she got irritated, so I loaded and helped the guy, she git irritated again. So I was tearing my hear out and yelling "Goddammit make up your mind you old hag there are no neutral choices here!!!"
You have a breakthrough with her in the end, as you get glimpses at what she was actually trying to do by training you and putting you through all those tests. It would still be good (spoilers ahead) if you could actually learn why she came to hate the force so much as to seek its death, if she gave you a clear story of her life (even a short version would suffice). She is a character that has studied the jedi code and the sith teaching in great detail, and when you finally get to open her up, she dies after twenty or so lines

Please fasten your seatbelts, assuming you possess sufficient intelligence to locate them, and do try to remain in your seats during the early stages of this flight. We will be cruising at an alititude of 30,000 feet, at which time a light will appear above the cabin exit door, should you choose to end your lives and do the rest of the universe a profound favor."
Have to say, I thought the character was a magnificent creation, wise and intensely unpleasant at the same time. I would as soon trust a scorpion, but but the vividness with which she was written is truly excellent. Not surprising that Avellone headed both this project, and Planescape: Torment.

| | | I also liked Kreia but mostly for her superb dialog and voice acting. G0-T0 had promise and I'm a little disappointed that he wasn't fully fleshed out. Yeah, he's a droid but you know what I mean.
Reluctant aside: Despite that annoying statement/question/response prefaces, I also list HK as one of my favorite characters.
T3 had humorous moments but he reminded me so much of R2-D2 that he came off like a cheap rip-off. |

| | My faves start with HK... I absolutely loved him the first one, and actaully got my girlfriend(whos more a of trek fan, and believe me, that's spawned some arguments with us lol) to actually use Meatbag referrences when referring to a couple of her former co-workers at the newspaper she used to be at.
After that, I have to say Visas. All the hot pixel and shiznit aside, she was a good character. And, I can't get it out of my head what the kids would look like.
Mira was great, but too damned hard to gain influence with. WAY TOO HARD. Other than that, she had a great bod
Next off would be the Handmaiden/Brianna. Frankly, I like that kind of short hair on a woman... it works for some, making them incredibily hot and sexy, and others, its just plain cute(don't take the cute referrence in a different way LOL).
After all of that, I have a soft spot for Canderous/Mandalore. Why? Being a big guy myself, and always having to do the heavy lifting, I can relate to him, also I can relate to him about being from a shattered/scattered people. I am almost half Native American(for our UK buddies, we were once called American Indians, which is a gross misnomer. We were here before any whites showed up, and we ain't from India ).
