Excuse me? Type in TSL Restoration Project in any search engine, and you will get it, or just type it into the search engine here. I will do so now, and bring back a link, but I think its kind of pointless to say that there is a link and not providing one.

Here it is.

Anyways, they changed the plot line over alternate parameters. The original plot line would now make no sense, as in that line, Kreia was supposed to kill all of the Exile's apprentices. The new one makes as much sense as the old one, IMO, and they either changed it for that reason, or due to time constraints.

I am not downing the gamplay, it was awesome. I really love KOTOR but I was expecting a killer ending like the first. However those who posted that they left the ending open for a sequel, I absolutely agree. No matter what side you play I recommend asking all of the questions to Trayla at the end. Her answers are quite interesting and foreshadow all of the Star Wars movies.

Thumbs down combat sucks!

i dont know about anyone else, but i found kotor2 extremely sucky combat-wise... i found my exile so powerful (no cheats) that i could easily kill even the sith lords & kreia without dificulty! when fighting on onderon my other characters got in the way rather than helped me because i could defeat everyone without help, so i just took kreia for the exp+... plus, hardly any enemies (dark jedi) use their force powers against you. it kotor1 that was mainly what you had to worry about, but in this game killing your enemies is hardly a challenge.it was a great disappointment

I have only fully completed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II on the Dark Side path... So I do not know much about what happens when the Jedi provale.

But, I was surprised when Kriea turned on my character... I thought, like Bastila in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I she would be with me until the end as they both had some sort of Force bond with the character. Kriea's betrayal was a nice surprise in my opinion - I didn't see it coming. I also enjoyed slaying her and Sion right at end.

But there were some things I did not like about the ending...
I did not like seeing the Ebon Hawk's fate. I thought the makers of Knights of the Old Republic could have done a little better with The Ebon Hawks death. I would have rather seen the Ebon Hawk hit the ground, in a wreck on fire... But that's just me.

Also, I think they could have had a better in-game movie at the end of the game than the one they had when you took over the base at Malacore. Somthing like Knights of the Old Republic I where your character was standing over his new followers...

That's my opinion on the ending of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II

Feel free to read it at any time.

Question

when you meet the three jedi masters in the rebuilt enclave, is kreia supposed to kill them? Also my character is super lightside but i didn't learn that "force enlightenment" power that the walkthrough said you learn. ??

The first ones ending was bad enough, but at least it gave a little closure. This one shocked me when the credits rolled, because I didn't think any games ending could be that terrible. They better make a sequel or I'll riot...

i quite liked the ending. it was a bit quick but it leaves it open to the imagination a bit, like the whole 'what is revan doing now?' question does. maybe its just me, but i like games that leave you wondering about things. you know revan has gone into unknown space in search of the true sith and you know bastila went to look for revan. you know what happens to all the crew except the droids (i personally think t3 will go and try to locate revan and HK will probably head off to find the droid factory or try to return to revan again). i think kotor2 had a great story that makes sense (if you think about it enough lol) and the ending was perfect for it. i have only played as ds and claimed the dark throne and now who knows where my sith lord will go. she could try to conquer the galaxy, she could choose to walk away back into exile or she could go to try and find revan and the true sith. its entirely up to your imagination. the only thing about the ending that disappointed me was the useless cutscene/movie at the end. it could have been far better. i also liked malachor because the fact that you could kill sion, kreia and all the sith in the place showed how powerful you had become now and kind of confirms that you are worthy of being a sith lord (if ds). with kotor1 i kinda felt that revan was a little underpowered to reclaim the mantle of sith lord when i did it the ds route. yes she killed malak, but she wasn't really all that much more powerful than bastila.

yeah, It Was Bad

I think it may have ended that way if either the developers rushed it out like some people suggested, or because it is intended to be the middle of a trilogy, in which case the end could leave you hanging. In my game, I had a random bug that would at times cut all the sound out except for the theme music. (?) It kicked in during the endgame conversations, so I know I missed a lot of the conversations with the characters. Also, I ended up feeling a little sad for the Sith Lords I defeated. Kreia had betrayed them so thouroughly.

I also noticed that we never did figure out the HK mystery. Hopefully it is in the next game if they develop one, which I hope they do. And if they do, they really gotta focus on an amazing ending.

I believe that the ending for KotoR II was almost the worst ending for any game that I have played in me entire game playing experience. It was completely pointless. They may as well have just faded to a black screen, because they did not give anyone (for me at least) an idea of what happened to the exile or to the party members. The first one ended with some closure at least, but this one was the worst, for light side and dark side. Thats just my opinion.

More like a cliff-hanger ending, to be precise. If the devs make the ending like this with a sequel in mind, I can live with it but given the fact that there seems to be no plan for a sequel as of yet, it does come off as disappointing to me.

I have to agree with a few folks here, the game was great, bit slow on start but interesting from the different viewpoints.
But the ending was disappointing.
It would of made more sense, going by clues in the mid game, for Atris to of been Traya, especially after the cut scene of Nihilus and Sion kicking Kriea's butt.
And having the Ebon Hawk fly out???, come on now!
It would of been easier to believe Baodur building a ship out of scrap, or, and this makes a lot more sense, finding the ship Sion and Traya arrived on and stealing it.
As to the allusions about Revan, it would make sense if there was some sort of ancient Sith or force eater out there, moving closer to the galaxy, like some sort of black hole, but I don't see how they are going to spin that into KOTR3 yet.
As to the academy on Malachor, I think it is so empty, because of the unfinished quests or fights, which ever, they are not there.
Plus they would have to have more than one version, since the fights you faced and dialogs that you had would depend on your path, and how close you followed it.
The jedi master confrontation was real weak too. Should not of ended like that, made no sense at all.

I am looking forward to see what the TSL restoration project brings. All the bug fixes and releases so far are excellent. Thanks to Lucas Arts for leaving so much of the original material there for us to work with, and for making what is over all a great game. A great game we can re write the end to, some day.
