spoilers:
Ill admit I havn't read into all the covo's, but is there any mention of the star forge in KOTOR II. I mean it was a weapon of great power. I can't see people just forgetting about it. Kreia admits she trained reven so she should know about it. I know vrook knows about it because he was one of the jedi who sent you on the mission in KOTOR I.
Darth sion is like.......well....dead. kreia said he can't be killed blah blah blah. How did he get like that. I mean how come other dark jedis and masters can't keep coming back to life as well.
lol i know hes not, but done't you think it would be funny if sion was really reven. I mean know one knows where reaven is. Kreia trained reaven and sion and who knows how long sion has lived for. Maybe reaven is posing as sion. lol The mind boggles lol, but sadly hes not.

No mention of Star Forge (because nobody knows about it).

| | | yeah, he cant be because if you chose revan to be female, sion is still male, and as oober said, nobody knows about the star forge, or where it is. Or it got destroyed if revan was light | | |

I mean theres so many broken bits of body in there, I wouldn't be surprised if 1/3 kath hound corssed with shyrak thats been puked up by a hassiss (dout dats spelt right) and then stepped on by a wondering twilek. (deep breathes lol). but yeah ur right sion can't be reven it was just a thought i had. I tend to think up alternative plots in my head. I live in a world of my own.

For a moment I thought Nihilus (sp?) was Revan, but after the stupidly easy battle, I decided it couldn't be.

| | | lol @both of those, interesting. I thought nihius might have been as well until I attacked him and got half hit HP's down in one force storm, and...I have forgotten what I was going to say bout him at malachor, but o well.
What does the (sp?) mean?

If you talk to Kreia, and if you view the loading screen messages, it says Sion and Nihilus and the third one, Kreia, each learned a different technique at Malachor V. The knowledge of how to become that existed at the Trayus Academy, and still does. Now, there is one HUGE disadvantage to having a fast PC on this game: the load screens go past before you can read them. I resorted to screenshotting a couple of them. The real reason the Star Forge is not known about is Revan never told anyone, and the Republic covered it up, fearing there may be more devices like that out there. It's not something you want publicized to all Sith as well as friendly forces.
A couple graphics tricks: a GeForce FX 5600 with 256 memory can run the game just fine with max graphics normally. In a couple areas, though, you should disable shadows, and maybe frame buffering. Grass doesn't put nearly as big a drain as shadows, and Malachor V will bring the card to its knees if shadows are enabled. Frame buffering does not have a huge effect on other performance or appearance, but it does one VERY nice thing when you disable it: gets rid of the blur when using Force Speed and its derivatives. So if that bothers you, you can get rid of it (good riddance).

Erm, you didn't know you can read the 'loading-game-messages' in your message log? That's what I do, usually.

| Well Vader is dead - at least he would be if not for that suit of his and Emperor actualy use a series of clones to which he transfers his consciusness using a little known DS technique when one body start to fail. I know that this don't mean that they are dead but they both come very close to it and they both find a way to cheat death. In fact someone once made a theory that the only reason that Vader is alive is that he had so much hate in him that DS of the force sustain him and that his death in RotJ came after he "came back to light" and let go of his hate.

Sion on the other hand you take his health down and he just comes back to life again, but i see what you mean about the whole being full of hate thing becauses how you kill sion isn't it. you tell him to let go and............what ever else you say lol.

Well Marka Ragnos preserved his spirit for 5000 years and Exar Kun managed it for 4000...so um..ya lol...marka ragnos nearly was resurected too but thankfully i was there in Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy to wtfpwn him...
P.S. there is no way a "modern" jedi that was taught by luke could handle marka ragnos even if he was weak from ressurection *mutters about stupid games* lol...or maybe i just love sith lords and think he was all powerful *shrug*

While I would agree with that, I do believe the modern, post-Empire Jedi are likely stronger than the Old Republic Jedi. Given what we have seen in KotOR 1 and 2, I have come to believe some of the original Jedi teachings were flawed. The restraint is too much in some areas and not enough in others. End result is that it leaves them weakened in Force powers and certain combat techniques. Luke is effectively redeveloping the Jedi from the ground up, and this reform may just be what they needed.

But I don't think any of them have good experience from a real Jedi Master - Luke is basically still learning himself.
Like Obi-Wan says when he gives Luke his father's lightsaber - "an elegant weapon, and from a more civilised age." I've always preferred the Knights of the Old Republic (not talking about the game now), from times when there were many Jedi, and partly because there were some flaws. But essentially they learned from thousands of years of wisdom, often from various masters - Luke has only a snap-shot of that to pass on.
So I agree, many of them might be inherrently more "powerful" in the Force, but I don't think many of them would have learnt the teachings and skills as they would in the Old Republic. Sometimes like you say this is better, because there were flaws - but ultimately these were flaws in character. This is hard to judge at a young age, and although the Jedi tried to control this from a that young age, some people still developed the wrong personality for the Jedi Code.
