sith maurader

can a sith maurader deal out the most melee damage in the game? with the plus 1-8 damage bonuses for dark alignment and the fury, it would seem to easily outweigh the +6 to strength (only +3 to damage modifier) or a jedi weapon master. am i missing something here?

edit: i just saw the increased melee feat for jedi weapon master. so how do things stand??
wait increased combat damage for sith maurader too....so it seems in mauraders favour for pure dmg output......

both weaponmaster and maurader's deal extremely high dmg but maurader might be a few points more...although very close

... Or we could just go to the Gross simplification that Dark Side is the strongest... But no. I think that a Marauder is better.

Weapons master is crazy and can deal more constant damage then maurader thanks to the light sides Valor which in combination with the +6 to str gives +11 str or + 5 to damage which is more then the average of +4 with the sith maurader since the sith maurader's damage is a variable were as the weapons masters damage is a constantthis bonus is even more noticible when using a double bladed light saber from which they get 1.5 * str modifier which = 7.5 so pretty much if weilding a double bladed saber the jedi weapons master is hitting for + 7 where as the sith maurader is still only hitting a +1-8 so sith mauraders have a 1/8 chance to deal more damage and a 6/8 or 3/4 chance of doing less damage also note that weapons masters atibute bonus adds to chance to hit as well.

1) a sith marauder can use master valor.
2) a sith marauder also gets fury to further increase their damage.

BTW the average dmg of 1-8 is 4.5 not 4. Also if you get the +3 bonus to strength twice presumably the marauder gets the +1-8 bonus twice, although i havent tested this.
