Question Problem installing

I've been trying to install KOTOR II today without success. Everything is going smooth while installing until DISC 3. I get this exact error for three attempts.

Unhandled Exception

Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT._WaitOnDialog

Setup will now terminate.

In the bottom it shows it is downloading the following file. C:\...\TexturePacks\swpc_tex_tpb.erf

If anyone can help me it would much appreciated.

My laptop has the requirements for the game and I do have some computer knowledge.

I suspect that the data in the disc is corrupt. Then again, I could be wrong. Did you try installing it on other computers to see if this problem still persist? If the problem still persist, then, it is confirmed that the data is corrupted.

I'd try checking the disc for scratches and dirt. You can also try copying the disc to your HD. If that doesn't work, you can be sure that the data is corrupted and get it replaced.

Talking Thanks

It finally worked. YEAH!!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions. It turns out it was Norton not letting it to be installed. Afterd disabling Norton it installed with no other problems.

I'm off to go play the game some more.
