Possible Ending Bug (SPOILERS!)

Basically I just beat the game however this is pretty much how the ending went.

1. I dropped the old lady.
2. The place started caving in.
3. The Ebon Hawk comes out of nowhere and then takes off leaving the Malacore V (no evidence that I even boarded the ship).
4. The End

This cant be a bug free ending. I mean there was no sign that I ever got on the Ebon Hawk to even leave the planet so for all I know I blew up with Malicore V. As far as I can tell it looks like the Ebon Hawk left without me and Mira was still wandering around. I never even had a chance to give the droids "The Signal" to start the detonation sequence. I will admin that I did enable cheats but other then that there were no hacks of anykind.

even if u dont use cheats (like me for example) u also have this end.


such ends come out if u have to less time to make it better.


have u ever played BALDURS GATE : dark alliance?
at the end u walk thru a teleport door and u come to a total unknown place where some orcs wait for you and a orc commander saying u gotta follow them. and it fade out black, then it says "...but this, is another story", and there were no questions left to ask, not like kotor 2

this was an real end, not that crappy stuff when u see the rear part of the ebon hawk flying with collision curse to sum planet or wutever

imo they purposefully left it open so you could pretty much imagine whatever ending you want.

maybe your jedi died at malachor.
maybe she got in the ship and left.

because they didnt seal an ending, whatever ending you think up is undisputable.

Maybe they arent done with the ending and will release the ending in a software update. Maybe they are going to pull a microsoft on us and use the customer as a labrat to beta test the program and then 1 year later release what I like to call "a Service Pack" and then we will have our ending.

Remember the first time you saw Empire strikes back? If you were old enough to see it in the theatre the first time, most of us came out fairly chapped at how it ended. How could it possibly be that dark and depressing and the good guys lost??? And was Darth Vader REALLY Luke's father??? NO WAY!!!

It left so many questions unanswered that many, many of us thought it was the worst of the movies at the time. And the worst part was that it was going to be YEARS before you found out anything else! However, today it is widely regarded as the best of the Star Wars films. Partly for it's darkness and it's cliff hanger ending.

I sort of think that this game is set up to get the stage ready for going beyond the outer rim and searching for Revan and encountering this very evil force that lurks beyond Republic space.




Or maybe the developers were as confused as I was and decided they'd try to figure it out by the next game...

Maybe in Kotor 3 you will be able to tell about Kotor 2 ending in conversation(like with Atton about Revan), or something like that because this ending really doesn't tell you much, except: "Wait for Kotor 3"
