Playing K1 just for ol' times' sake (spoilerish)

I've just finished my fifth pass through K2. Well not really. The last couple passes, I stopped at Malachor. I just wanted to see all the variables and differences in stories. The first four were light male PC/light Revan, dark male PC/dark Revan, etc. The fifth was dark female/Light Revan and just for giggles, I killed one Jedi Master and let the other two live. If you haven't tried that variation yet, it's kinda fun.

Anyhoo, to the point of the topic, I re-installed K1 just for comparison. I must say that just the intro and Endar Spire level seemed more solid than anything on K2. The movies matched my game resolution as opposed to switching to 640x480 in K2. At least I hope it's switching to 640 because the movies in K2 are awfully grainy. Perhaps I just haven't figured out how to hack the game and change my movie resolution. The polygons in K1 all seem to lock into their places. In K2, it seems like they're fit together rather loosely. At times it looked like some of the character's heads were gonna fall off and quite often I could see a seem going down the middle of their faces.

I am missing certain features, like swapping weapons with the push of a key and the containers telling you when their empty. Overall, it's very much like watching the the original Star Wars movies after watching the special editions. Some bells and whistles are missing but it feels much more solid and well put together.

OK, not really related to what you are talking about here, but I've got a question.

Your fifth character in KOTOR2, was he throughout the game? If so, you didn't get prestige classes, right? And if so, did you play it till the end to see what happened with Kreia. I am just wondering these because I wanted to know if there's a neutral ending.

Was she neutral throughout the game? Not really. I don't have the patience to play balanced. I wasn't really shooting for dark side, I was aiming to lose influence all over the place. That, for the most part, threw me well into the dark side. I just wanted to see if I could get my NPCs to light side mastery while I was chilling in dark side mastery.
