Kotor II Question

alright, i am in the process of playing kotor ii through as a dark sider, and i've gotten to nar shaddaa, there is a chance to gain influence here with bao dur at the refugee sector, and i am wondering if i can skip it,(because it will cause me to screw up another quest at the docks if i do.) but still turn him into a dark jedi without that one chance for influence. ive turned him into a jedi as a light sider, so i am just wondering if its possible as a dark sider, or if i should just trash the idea and play through.

Send Bao-Dur back on ship and play that part without him. After you finish the quest, continue to play with Bao-Dur.
