| | | I'm Looking for help from anyone who has gone down the path of the Sith.. I am having trouble killing the jedi master on dantooine. it seems the longer I put of on killing him the harder he becomes. I reached lvl 15 jedi guardian and lvl 8 Sith Lord. Did I make a mistake in my class choice? or is there a secret to killing him? . any help would be awsome. |

| | | No mistake with the class choice IMO, it's just that Vrook is the toughest of all the Jedi masters in my experience, he's handed me my head several times.
Buff yourself as much as you can, and keep persevering, you'll get him in the end. It is easier in my experience for a character with high wisdom and charisma using stun to take him down, but that may just be my playing style.

| | | It's been a while, but as I recall, the first thing you should do is RUN. Maybe try to take a quick whack at him, but spend most of your time running around the trees and desk.
At some point Kreia will say something that helps you defeat Vrook. Save at that point and give it your best shot. Vrook will be mostly immune to your force powers and he has tremendous healing abilities, so after Kreia gives you the word, you just have to try to overwhelm his defenses and press the attack.
Be sure to use Energy Resistance, if you have it, as well as any other buffin disciplines. If you have high-level Force Wave, that may work as well.
I beat him with a single saber and lvl 3 Flurry. |

| | | Vrook is easily the toughest Jedi Master to defeat. As noted previously, he's practically immune to force powers and has high self-healing abilities. His offense with lightsaber is also very good, but his defense is not. If you don't have Force Storm or Force Wave, do the stick and run - hit him once or twice, then run like crazy around the room to stay away from him while stopping to heal yourself a bit at a time. |

You just need to know what to do. First, if you are a jedi guardian you will need to be a sith marauder. There are several advantages to this because Vrook is weak at melee defence and marauders excell at melee offence. Second, upgrade everything to the max that's best for this battle. And third, if he is too powefull for you now just do that planet last. |

If you start as a Guardian and choose a different class when you get your Prestige Class, your Guardian fighting skills carry over and are easily sufficient to carry you through the fight.
The only real problem with Vrook is that he is nearly immune to force powers and has tremendous offensive skills with a lightsaber. If you can keep him from messing you up, you can take him out with lightsabers. |

| | | If he is nearly immune to force powers just use Plaegue! (it even works on Kreia in the end) And if his healing abilities are anoying you just use Force Breach!
If his lightsaber offence is so great, just make your deffence greater! I managed to get mine over 50! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
