| | | It's all about the influence and trigger events. The last game I played, I had trained everyone as Jedi except Bao-Dur on Nar Shaddaa. NS was my first stop after Telos. Bao-Dur becane a Jedi after I found the missing devices on Dantooine. |

Yes I've done the duel with Handmaiden to death. I did that even before I knew about it being a trigger to anything, I tried from the onset to play a realistic game and really disappear into the Star Wars Old Republic universe to get the most out of this awesome gaming engine. I loved Kotor I thoroughly and have been looking forward to this game for quite a while (and the mods and tutorials from pcgamemods and Holowan Laboratories).
She's agreed to learn from me in two games, pretty early on too (by 15th level in one game and since the D20 install at around 27th or in other words just as I qualify to take a Prestige Class, which is appropriate for training Jedi IMHO). But she always says, "I need time to take all this in, I look forward to your training me at the right time," (or something like that), and in the first one I kept her with me, kept opening dialogue to check if there was an option to level her up as a Jedi and it just never happened. Even after the showdown with Atris and Handmaiden declares that she will be your understudy, it just doesn't happen. I ended up at Malachor with no option to make Handmaiden a Jedi anywhere, even though she agreed some 10 levels earlier. So I abandoned that game in frustration.
Since the D20 mod, I've gotten to 35th level, Handmaiden agreed to train with me back at 27th level and still no dialogue option appears to make her a Jedi. As I mentioned I've been to Onderon, Nar Shaddaa and back to Onderon and I try to find every hook I hear about and complete every quest that isn't out of character (never done the Hutt's treasure one, but who needs it really and it's a bit greedy for a LS'er anyway).
Do I have too much influence with Visas perhaps, causing rivalry? I get very high influence with Visas very easily (she goes LS very quickly around me and usually ends up LS mastery by the Ravager), I'm usually LS-Mastery shortly after she rolls up anyway, usually a Master of some type not long after that and very quickly get 100% influence with both Visas and Handmaiden in every game since the first. What can I say, I thought they were the sexiest little things out (love watching Visas walk and Handmaiden stand around in shapely AC15 heavy-armour or move about in her underwear).
Visas usually goes around declaring her love for me (we did the glowing blue thingy in the last game). Handmaiden usually tells me she's denying a love for me but she can't help it being there, what the hell she'll betray Atris for me (I always tell her time will show she's doing the right thing). Hell, even Mira thinks I'm talking about charging up her loading ramp every time I try to chat, I have to keep asking her what the heck she's talking about (I try to say hi and she starts going on about how she doesn't want to step into the female rivalry for my character's attentions, I say, wtf? and she starts going on about sharing bunks together and getting the others jealous). The whole time I'm about to start screaming at the computer screen, LOOK I JUST WANT TO TRAIN YOU ALL AS JEDI, OKAY?
Atton I usually get 85-95% influence with, no idea how you'd make that guy a Jedi, every time you open a dialogue it's a sabacc option or an argument. If you call him a twerp you get influence and then it's back to sabacc options. Bao-Dur I have no real interest in making a Jedi, I mean if it comes along yeah but I'm not going out of my way since I think it's out of character for him and Mandalore. I'll save it for when I get more silly/bored.
I'll search all through related threads again and see if I can come up with all the triggers needed. |

| I ran into the same problem recently. Turned out that I needed to talk to Kreia before I was able to train Handmaiden. So go visit Kreia - as you end the conversation with her, she will start talking about how you are spending time with the servant of Atris. After that you will be able to train HM. |

| | | Havent played DS yet, but never had any problem getting both Visas and Handmaiden and Mira to follow the jedi path yadda yadda...
You definately have to converse with Kriea about Handmaiden if you're stuck. She should start the conversation with something like "Youve been talking to the servant of Atris" or some such... keep her talking down as many different dialogue trees as you can about it until she starts talking about training her in the 'ways of the "jedi"'
Basically, to me, a good rule of thumb is to chat at everyone after every planet is done with, just stroll around the ship talking to everyone. Some people never have anything new to say, but you never know when an increase in your stats might open up a different option in the dialogue.
Sometimes its also good to talk to people immediately after youve gained influence with them. Gaining influence helps open those annoying 'influence failed' persuasion options every now and then.

| | | Is there a way to get Handmaiden to talk to you again that doesn't involve cheating or editing? Will dragging her around and doing good deeds really fix it? Cuz if so, it's not worth it to me; I've already wasted enough opportunities and now I'm no longer solidly-dark, I've gone neutral. This sucks.

Wrong, you will romancer her, if you have all the influence you need.
@Chimarea, Well, have you lost all influence on her?
@Mote, all you need to have is influence. I was just walking through nar shadda and It went to a cut scene with me and Mira, and it led me into turning her into a jedi.

| | | I gave up. Handmaiden lost influence with me, but I don't think it was all influence. Anyway, I got some more influence with her, but I made some mistakes on Nar Shadda that really ruined the progress of the rest of the game for me. I'll just have to remember this time to deal with Visas after Handmaiden... it's no wonder why I never saw the vids I saw before. First I saw Handmaiden practicing and Atton talking to her, then Visas and Handmaiden talking with Handmaiden decidedly pissed at Visas. Then came Kreia and Atton talking to Handmaiden. I never saw Visas/Handmaiden or Kreia/Atton/Handmaiden vids before... should've known something was up, but by then it was too late; and I had Force Sight, so I had finished what I could with Visas. Well, in my new game, I'll be more careful with those two.

| | | Spoilers I sucsessfully romanced the both of them at the first time, what you need ro do is to get them in your party at the same time occasionaly, you three would be the perfect party. For Handmaiden, a good thing for you to do (if your dark side) do anything you want, but if she says anything, just agree with her. The best thing to do as you start out, would be to gladly except her into your party. And to make sure that she has no problems with anything. The best way to do things with visas is to go to those apartment things on nar shadda, and just kill/ take everything from the people who live there. You can do the same with Handmaiden, but becarefull when you do that innocent in the apartments, go on solo mode and kill that one by your self, the others you can kill with Her.

| | | handmaiden got pissed at me.
but that's okay, i'd like to think i saw visas naked.
besides, i got handmaiden so powerful with melee weapons, making her a jedi would be lame.
plus, i don't like having ppl in my party late in the game... they slow me down. |

but i don't like having ppl in my party unless i wanna talk to them for some sweet dialogue.
i'm the most powerful jedi ever.
i don't need allies. lol
i got handmaiden up pretty strong, stronger than my character and even rivaled hanharr. but that makes the game too ez.
making her a jedi might be a good idea so i can get a little competition from the weak bozo sith, or something...... |

| | | If you've forgotten to talk to Kreia, what's the Global you edit to set it so you did? Or rather, the value.
I'm on Dantooine before she ices the remaining Jedi Masters and she won't talk to me anymore. I think it's Kreia_Hand_Mom but what value? I've tried setting it to 1 and that doesn't work.
EDIT - AHA! Answered my own question... the global value to get the questions about her mom is 2. |

| | | OK. I'm still completely at a loss to get Handmaiden to Jedify. It's the only thing in KOTOR2 I can't do and it's driving me mad.
I've got her INF to 100, without cheats or edits, checked it on the SGE. I've sparred with her 3 times. I've asked Kreia about her. There are now no more dialogue options about her with Kreia. I've talked to Handmaiden about her mother. I've got her to put on her mother's robes (after asking about 6 times).
