| | I recall that this Malak's armour is from a random drop, so it's impossible to tell where you will get it. As for it being upgradable, I'm not sure as I didn't get this armour the last time I played.
P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums, braco85.

P.S. Hello and welcome to the forums, braco85. | Well in the equipment database here on gamebanshee says (on Darth Malak's armor):
Obtained:
• This item cannot be obtained through any conventional means.
And for randomly placed armor it says:
Obtained:
• This item is either very common or randomly placed throughout the game.
So, that's why I tought it's not random... Too bad, cause I'd like to get it, but who knows if I will when it's unfortunatley random.
PS. Thanks for the welcome. One of the best forums for RPG gaming that I know of. If not the best. |

| | | Wasn't that armor part of the list of leveled drops that are actually unobtainable due the player never being able of reaching a level quite high enough? Production cycle was cut short on KOTOR 2, they cut a planet and likewise a sizable amount of XP. They probably never bothered to correct the drops because rebalancing the game for these items (or the items for the game) would have meant a great deal of additional work.
Sadly Team Gizka won't be restoring anything that will involve rebalancing the entire game either.

| | | Well there is a cheat mod, Coruscant - Jedi Temple, which is available at FileFront, it has every Jedi/Sith armour and weapon in the game for free, plus force power cheats, and a cheat to boost your darkside points as well.
The armour is upgradeable by the way.

| | | You can just use a summon code, I've done that before. Do a Google search on that. Malak's armor is just a red variation of a light armor model though. Not those red PJ's the guy wears in KOTOR 1.

The last time I remember, a number of posters here reported getting this armour after playing the game like 2 or more times.

| | Oh, I've seen it, it's just like tricky said... It sucks... Just a color variation on all other light armour jedi robes...
Well can anyone say if there are perhaps cool robes like Darth Revan's from KOTOR 1? Or something similar...
Also, I presume that darkside armors look a lot cooler (black and all ) or am I wrong?

| | | Darth Malak's armor can only be obtained by using the SGE ( Save Game Editor) and this can only be done on the PC version. Yeah, I know it sucks. His armor isn't that great cause it doesn't look like the one he had in the first game anyway.

| | Heres what ya do. If you know the Hssiss glitch in the Secret Tomb inside the Shyrak Cave on Korriban, do that glitch until you reach the lvl 40-50 area. Do Fassa's quest. DON'T GET YOUR ITEM FROM HIM YET. Save before you talk to him again. Talk to him, and see what he gives you. If he doesn't give you Malak's armour, load the game and ask him again.
If you get the same armour still, reload, and leave the area. Return and the next item should be different. Do this as many times as you need to if you want Malaks armour that badly.
Your's Truly,
Darth Bunny, Dark Whatchamicallit of the Sith.
