Bao-dur can't wear heavy armour?

Bao-dur can't wear heavy armour because when leveling up I do not see the feat to select it. Is this normal and if so, why on earth is it.
I'm saddened, my xbox keeps crashing whilst I'm doing the levelglitch on Korriban, and now this.

He can't, which is a big pity. Probably has something to do with the fact that heavy armor includes arm coverage and that isn't possible with his arm. For the same reason he cannot wear Jedi Robes.

I suggest you stick him with the heaviest medium armor possible, and give him Force Powers that can be cast with armor.

In answer to your first question- yes it is normal. As for why, well there are probably two reasons for this: first, Bao-Dur is a tech-specialist and as such would probably find that heavy armour is far too restrictive to do his job properly; second , his arm- it's big and has that weird energy thing in the middle, you can imagine that lighter armours he would probably cut up or something to use but that isn't really practical for something made out of half-inch thick durasteel.
This is all just rationalising however, I do agree that it's absolute git that he can't wear the good stuff- I mean all that heavy armor and no one can wear it!

It's also extremely annoying he can't wear robes or Jedi armor of any kind. It's truly retarded. I mean, a robe, you can roll up the sleeve or cut it off. They just decided to nerf him except for basic buffing powers.
