Who are Gar and Rilka on Dantoine Courtyard?

(XBox) before meeting Jon, the guy asking to kill the mandalorian raiders, there is a couple, Rilka and Gar. What is it that I have to do?

Gar asks me whether the council has heard their petition and I have no idea what he is talking about. If I say "Yes, they are waiting for you" the couple simply leaves and nothing happens. If I ask questions to Gar he says he is a farmer and has problems with kath hounds. But I can not find a mission associated with this couple.

Does anyone know what it is?

Did you check out the walkthrough?

Gar and Rilka are there for apparently no reason at all. Every time in every way I talked to them, the end was always nothing.

Yes, I checked the walkthrough, which mentions Nemo and Jon, but nothing of the couple, and that is why I wanted to know if anybody had that couple in their game or whether it was a strange thing that appeared on the release of my game, which I had bought in January of 2004.

I have no idea on whether there are different releases ... so I was just wondering. Hehe, all I do is say "Sure, they are waiting for you."

I think they are a miscellaneous couple, not really part of anything. But I like to still be nice and say 'I don't know', or whatever else will seem nice.

Are they not mentioned by another character in the game? I can't remember fully as it's a while since I've played that bit, but I'm pretty sure atleast one other person mentions what they're doing... so it's probably just for immersion, Dantooine as a living planet etc.

There are some things (Events, NPCs and so on...) That occur for no reason in game...

I think it's because some things were changed or dropped out JUST before the release of the game and they were just missed by programmers...

For example, there are few NPCs who mention something about upgrades of your swoop bike, though you will not find any upgradable items for your swoopy, no matter how much you search and whoever you talk to...

I think GMs intented to make a swoop upgradable thing, but dropped out idea later, forgetting to delete mentioning about it by NPCs...

I think your couple is something like that too, supposed to give you a quest that was later dropped out of game...

Well, I think that its just a random couple. Ynow how all the settlers are mad at the Jedi? Well, I think that that is why the couple is in their, just to add some more insight. I was wondering about them for a wile too but I guess not everything is a quest.
