Which class Jedi

Which class Jedi matches best with base class? Does it even matter? The first time I went through I was a fighter. I chose the middle jedi class...I forget what it was. Worked ok but I am wondering if there are advantages to certain classes.

Oh and I plan on playing DS again, just because I know now how to not be nice. =)

The third time I play I will try LS although I cant see this being much fun.

In my opinion LS is a lot more fun and rewarding than DS but that is off topic. If you are all the way light or dark I believe you get bonuses as follows:
LS Guardian: +3 Strength
LS Consular: +3 Charisma
LS Sentinal: +3 Constitution(?)

Sorry I do not remember where I got this and if it is even acurate.... Sorry I could not be more helpful

I never knew you get bonuses for full dark/light. I had better check that.

Well there is no 'best' combination however the corrisponding classes are:

Soldier -> Guardian (both fighting types)
Scout -> Sentinal (in the middle)
Scoundrel -> Consular (both use skills/force powers)

However combining say scoundrel + guardian can be effective because of sneak attacks + jump. Or scout + guardian if you intend to take implants (will have better saves).

Hmmm, very interesting, however the darkside guardian seems a little too strong...

I was Darkside Fighter/guardian last time I played and basically walked through the game. 2 lightsabers maxed out with crystals and the best offensive powers and not much got in my way.

Very true, but they definitely all have there advantages. It's just based on the way you like to play that you like one combo better than the other. Personally I like to go Scoundrel/Consular for Major Force Use I didn't even need my lightsaber most of the game.
