| | | Uthar Wynn and Darth Sion [POSSIBLE SPOILERS] I think I've figured out who Darth Sion is. I believe him to be Uthar Wynn, the Master of the Academy on Korriban. He sort of looks like Uthar. He is bald like him. Kind of has the same voice but darker. Uthar's death could have been explained by Revan killing him in KOTOR 1 and Kreia could have found him and brought him alive again. Tell me what you guys think.

| | | I'm inclined to agree with Drunkside, I really don't think they are the same people. You have to bear in mind that the time difference between KOTOR 1 and 2 is very short, possibly even only a few months or a year at most. Darth Sion had been around a lot longer than that, as had Nihilus. They were hiding beyond the outer rim and once Malak had been defeated and Revan left known space, they seized their opportunity. Plus, I'm pretty sure Kreia says that Nihilus and Sion were result of the events on Malachor V, which happened 4 years before Revan defeated Uthar on Korriban.

| | | it was 5 years between the two games.
dont you think that sion is to impatient, brutle, blunt, and just too much blind rage to be the deep, well spoken, subtle, time biding Uthar? i mean if he didnt like you, he wld send you on a mission that wld be benificial for him but suicidal for you. if sion didnt like you he just killed you then and there...
so no i dont think that uthar is sion.

| | | I don't think they're the same people either. Darth Sion, to me, looks and behaves more like a thug (or even a gangster) whereas Uthar Wynn is more sophisticated and level-headed.

Like Uther? Kind of like Malak was during the Mandalorian Wars. He looked different.

| | | This just came to mind when I was reading this thread. I suspect that Uthar Wynn could be dead prior to the events in KOTOR 2 because by that time, the Sith Academy was in ruins as a result of the constant infighting among the members there, if I recall what Kreia said about the Sith Academy. With that in mind, it is doubtful that Uthar Wynn is Darth Sion.

Just a speculation, though. | Also, in the dark side ending, you see Revan and Bastila on Korriban so even if he is still alive then I'm sure he wouldn't last long before Revan had him eliminated.
If light side then the entire Sith Academy would have been overun by Jedi and Republic soldiers once the entire Sith forces were near wiped out due to Bastila's Battle Meditation at the Star Forge and I doubt he would have surrendered so its safe to assume they would have killed him anyway.

| | | But you are forgetting that Darth Sion was safely considered dead and should have been dead with all of his wounds. The Dark Side helped him to sustain his self in order to live. We still don't know if he really died in KOTOR 2.

Kreia says Sion and Nihilus are results of the Battle of Malachor V, which happened 4 years before you come across Uthar in KOTOR.
