Persuasion

Is it even worth to use skills on Persuasion?I'm replaying the game and having used all my points on persuade,i can't repair HK-47 which is very frustrating...I also fail most of the time when trying to convince people.(12 persuade{+14charmisma}+2=14persuade total).

Hello and welcome to the forums, Light&Dark.

As for persuasion, it's useful during certain conversations and if you want to avoid confrontations with other people. For me, it is but I only started realise this somewhere near the end of the game, so, useful in certain people, failed in others.

And if you want to repair HK, you really need to have a high repair skill to do so.

If there is one skill you SHOULD max, it is Persuasion. When it's maxed, it succeeds almost anytime. Also, quicksave before you have to use it. Remember, it's d20, so chances are you actually "rolling" low on the d20.

A very useful skill. In one area in particular, it will save you a great deal of trouble.

I like the conversation options it opens, esp on Manann. I max repair, security and persuade.
