need help in finding how not to miss attacks

Hi.
I never played a real RPG till this game (only diablo II), i tried this game and couldnt stop.
everything goes well but i find the word "missing" too common while i hit with my 2 lightsabres, and i would thank you if you could help me understand what should i improve. i know dextirity was good for archers in other games but here it talks about the agillity of the player.
here is my stat (in the begining i didn't really cared on what i invest )

Well, you have a few wasted feats (could've done without gearhead, medium armour and dueling), but you've mastered two-weapon fighting. You can replace the lightsaber in your offhand with a short lightsaber if you like, which will negate the -2 attack penalty there. You might want to lose that armour in favour of a robe, then invest in force speed and use it every battle - at master level it's an extra two attacks, which (obviously) translates into better odds of hitting. Other than that, you probably should've focused on either strength or dexterity. Lightsabers receive attack bonuses from whichever one's higher, but not both at the same time - so there's little point raising both. If you want a big damage bonus, then leave dexterity at 14 and invest the rest into strength. If you want higher defense, leave strength at 10-12 and invest the rest into dexterity. Oh, and if you want to use a melee feat (critical strike/flurry/power attack) then get them to master level, too.

Basically, strength is what you need to hit hard and regular, Dexterity, as Armi said, is mainly Defense. There are several items you can use to quickly up your strength. I usually get my strength around 22 or 24 by the time I face Malak, and prefer this to a higher defense (I get fewer misses). However, I never get rid of them completely.

On Dantooine, in Crattis Urtals shop, purchase the CNS enhancer for 7500 credits. Strength +2, all saves +2. Do the Genoharadan side quest (starts on Manaan, after you kill Calo Nord) and you will receive Gauntlets that give a +4 to Strength. Or on Korriban, talk to Mika Dorin the bartender about his special items. He has gloves that give a +5 strength, but I think they cost something like 24,000 credits.

It depends, you cant use certain forcepowers while wearing armor.
But there is a lightside defence bonus forcepower to get a higher bonus. Later in the game you will find +3/+5AC robes.

I prefere a robe over armor, but only cause i like using forcepowers.

Like I said, master speed - it's probably the best power in the game, and you can't use it wearing armour. It increases your defense by +4, too.

dexterity is the primary modifier for lightsabers, not strength as they are a finesse weapon.

Dexterity measures hand-eye coordination, balance, and reflexes. The
modifier is applied to defense, attack bonuses of long-range blasters and
lightsabers, and to the reflex saving throw. The stealth skill also
benefits from high Dexterity. Characters with high Dexterity are harder to
hit, more accurate with blasters and lightsabers, and are quicker on their
feet, thus escaping effects that require Reflex saving throws. Jedi find
Dexterity useful for its defensive bonuses and its bonus for the
lightsaber, if applicable. Characters with non-lightsaber melee weapons
can use Dexterity for its defensive bonuses, but may benefit more from
focusing on high Strength and wearing heavier armor.

Strength is applied equally to the lightsaber's AB. There is no 'primary modifier' for lightsabers. As I said earlier, strength is for offensive characters, and dexterity is for defensive characters. There's nothing more to be said.

Edit: oh, except that if you're using melee weapons, dexterity has no combat application at all. Melee weapons derive both damage and AB solely from strength.
