More Spice?

I've had the game awhile, and I thought I'd found most things, until recently I randomly decided to put something in the secret storage compartment (having already returned the spice and delivered the prison). That's when I found there was more spice, and I got a new quest, saying something along the lines that some of the spice had been left behind and I should return it. But I couldn't find any one to give it too, and I can't find the slightest trace of this quest on any forum anywhere. Has anyone seen this and more importantly solved it? PC, latest update, having done everything before the unknown world (except Juhani's quest, which I've only once ever successfully triggered to completion). Unfortunately I've lost the save file, so I can't recall any more details.

I am unaware such a quest existed. It is prolly additional content that was cut, improperly, from the final version of the game. Which is why a trigger exists w/o a viable solution.

Fair enough, though I must admit I didn't look too hard for a solution. I think I only checked with the Hutt you deliver the prison to and one or two of the other more likely places. I'll have a better look this time while I'm trying to finish off the last bit of Juhani's quest, though that could be a while away. Of course odds are it won't happen this time because of some obscure trigger condition, but we'll see. If anyone else could take a look that would be appreciated.

I've played through a new game, and it does seem to be an unfinished section. This time there was no quest, and the spice was only there after landing on the unknown world. The smuggling compartment relocked itself with a DC40 security check upon landing there, although it seems to have opened by itself without me using my security skill. Inside was the quest item "Spice", with a picture looking kind of like the chest section of sith armour, and the description "This appears to be a valuable quantity of Kessel spice." I'd be surprised if there was any use for it at this stage of the game, and the picture doesn't really seem to match, suggesting it's a relic of a planned quest which wasn't finished but wasn't quite properly blocked off either.

However, I was pretty sure that the first couple of times I encountered this I hadn't left for the unkown world, and there was a quest for it. It's possible the reason I didn't get the quest this time was simply because I was on the unknown world, and wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. I'm still looking, but it does seem to be bugged/unfinished.

Ive recently replayed the game from one of my ancient saves in which i had just landed on korriban (btw, this was my last planet before the unknown world). I tried what u initially did, i.e, putting stuff into the locked compartment after clearing it out initially, to no avail. I didn't see any new spice or even the bugged version of ur spice once i had hit the unknown world. I even checked it on the star forge before reaching that point of no return, just to be safe...

I suppose that it could be the misfiring trigger needs some specific condition be completed much earlier in the game, or at least prior to korriban.

I'm hoping to be able to get access to my old save files sometime in the next month, which would let me check if there was a pre unknown world trigger and quest, because it's still only coming up on the unknown world for me this time. But that has to wait until after exams, and depends on whether the save files are still on that computer. It is coming up consistantly on this saved file, which since you're not getting it suggests some sort of obscure trigger condition, or a difference in game versions. Whatever it is definitely seems bugged/unfinished, so it's not a huge issue.

An update on this:
I haven't been able to get my old save files, but I have been able to get a quest to pop up for the second lot of spice. After getting the spice on the unknown world the way I described earlier, this quest popped up when I arrived at the Star Forge:

Unfinished Business
Ebon Hawk:
You have discovered a stash of spice inside the secret compartment on the Ebon Hawk. You will have to deliver it to Lurze on Korriban if you want to get paid for it.

This has the same name as the original quest, not sure if it's the same description. If it is, it's probably a messed up piece of coding on the original quest allowing it to fire again. If it's a different description it's probably a quest that got scrapped, since I'm not likely to go about delivering stuff during the end game, and because the graphic is sith armour. I was sure I managed to trigger it prior to the end game previously, because I remember flying around trying to find someone to deliver it to, but without the save files I can't verify this.
