lightsabers' chance to hit is affected by dexterity ?? But describing the effects of strength modifiers, they say it affects melee weapons' chance to hit (vibroblades, lightsabers,etc.). Is this some kind of mistakes from the makers? While playing, strength only affects the total damage dealt by a lightsaber...at least it's what i see in the pause menu !
As for your question, if I remember correctly, you will have to learn a certain feat in order to use either dexterity or strength (whichever one is the highest) for lightsaber damage.

Yes the higher one affects hitting in K1. But in 2 there ís a feat called finesse which youll have to take to get ab-bonus from dex... Hopefully this clears things up..

Exactly what is the specific feat called??? i'd like to know because with my current lightsaber i can barely hit anything and my strength is 21 and my dex is 10 if my stats are the reason why tell me

If I recall correctly, it's called Finesse: Lightsaber or something but you'll only see this in the sequel, KOTOR 2. The 1st one didn't have it.
