I've glanced at a few things that say there's a romance in this game.
Is there one for just males, just females, or anybody?

| | | bastilla is the big love story in the first KotOR. however (spoiler) in the second on you can go after atton, and disciple if ur a female. and when your a male, you can go after handmaiden, visas, and mira. but you dont really get anywhere with mira. i havent really played in quite some time, im actually playing the first one now

(XBox) There is romance between Bastila and your male character and it can have a lot of humor in dialogue.
If you want to make sure that your male character follows the romantic path I suggest saving the game prior to conversations with Bastila in case you respond with something that removes the romantic story line or in case there is a bug.

| | | Even then though, its pretty difficult to derail the "romance" in this game. You can get away with quite a bit in the dialogues without screwing it up.
