Just finished and goin again

Well I just finished as a Scout/Sentinel and now I want to go again. I've heard of people doing a soldier/consular which would work pretty well because if you let the soldier get to level 8 he'll be tough enough to make up for the lack of VP on the consular side. What do you think? And if anyone's ever tried this combo before lemme know.

All down to what you want. Thats a nice neutral combo to take. Some people like a few low-end soldier levels to help them through the first part, then take Consular from about level 4 onwards, making you very powerful force-points wise. I'm more of a combat person myself, and usually take a fairly middle-of-the-road approach.

All personal preference really, the game isn't so difficult that it is impossible whichever path you take, so just play around with it

For my first time through I actually went with the default everything and found the game relatively easy for the most part combat wise. But the thing is I'm a huge fan of passive feats and force powers(are there any?). This doesn't count special attacks though, of which Flurry is my favorite. Is there a good build out there for a single sabre weilding guy who doesn't wanna be bothered with any activated powers aside from heal, destroy droid, stasis field, and maybe force wave.

I don't think there are any "true" passive force powers. All of them have to be activated, although Affect/Dominate mind are simply thrown into conversations and don't use FP.

Lots of feats though, which you should notice! Thinks like weapon specialisations, toughness, implants, etc, aren't activated, they just give you bonuses.

They were the only real force powers I went for in a big, the 4 you mentioned (plus Dominate mind for certain situations). And apart from Heal, for the obvious benefits, they're all pretty offensive powers as far as light/neutral powers go. I never really used things like force suppression (if thats what its called), or damage immunity or anything like that.

As for a good build, I'm not the sort to try out the effectiveness of builds and what is good or bad, so I can't really help you there...
